Barry Doyle Harris (December 15, 1929 – December 8, 2021)[1] was an American jazz pianist, bandleader, composer, arranger, and educator. He was known for his bebop style.[2]

Harris died on December 8, 2021 in North Bergen, New Jersey from problems caused by COVID-19, one week before his 92nd birthday.[1]
