Franklin County, New York

Franklin County is a county in the northern part of the U.S. state of New York. It borders the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. As of the 2020 census, the county population was 47,555.[1] Its county seat is Malone.[2] The county is named in honor of United States Founding Father Benjamin Franklin.[3] This county is part of New York's 21st congressional district.

Franklin County was created in 1808.
