Shipping policy
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All orders are processed upon receipt. Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days of purchase. A confirmation email and tracking number will be sent to your email. Shipping costs may increase depending on weight, volume, postal code, and shipping method. Shipping method may be selected at checkout.
STANDARD SHIPPING
Standard Shipping rates will vary based on package weight and distance. Rates will be shown during the checkout process prior to payment. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing and 1-5 business days after processing for delivery (based on distance). All orders received after 2:00 PM PST will be processed the next business day.
FREE SHIPPING CODES
All free shipping orders with promotional codes are only eligible for domestic orders and sent as First Class Mail. If the weight of your package exceeds the maximum allowed weight for First Class Mail, then the package will be shipped as Priority Mail at our cost. Otherwise, all orders with free shipping promotional codes will be processed and shipped as First Class Mail.
INCORRECT SHIPPING INFORMATION
If you have provided an incorrect address and your order hasn’t shipped, we will do our best to update your order with the correct address. However, if your order has already shipped we are not responsible. We are not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer at the time the order is placed.
If a package is returned to Signature Step due to an incorrect shipping address provided by you the customer, the customer will be responsible for the redelivery cost. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are confirmed to be DELIVERED to your address by the USPS after they leave our location.
ORDER TRACKING
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order has been processed. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking number to be updated.
LOST PACKAGES
Signature Step is not responsible for items that are lost by the mail carrier or by any shipping service. If a package has been delivered to the shipping address that you had provided at checkout, we are not responsible if that package is lost or stolen after delivery. We understand that having a lost package is frustrating. But it must be your responsibility to make sure someone is home to receive the package. If your package is lost in transit this is the carrier's responsibility. In this case you may reach out to USPS directly for assistance.
RETURN TO SENDER
If your package is returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible for the shipping cost for the package to be sent again. Please note if your package is sent back to us because of an insufficient address provided by the customer, we will charge a resend fee. Please double check all addresses before placing an order. In the case you would not like your package sent back, we will only issue store credit.
