I Love You Snow Much | December Color Kitz | Brandy Vaughn

 Hello, friends! I'm back with a new layout using the sold-out December Color Kitz from Shimmerz Paints. I love this kit so much and I know all of you who were able to purchase it do too!

I just had to document this sweet photo of Charlie's first time seeing a Christmas tree. I began by choosing the papers I wanted to work with. I cut them down to size paying close attention to avoid cutting into the part of the images on the other side that I want to use on a future project.

I had some mixed media left over from a previous project that I didn't want to waste so I grabbed a couple of dies from my stash and cut out a cute little fringe border. The dies were shorter than 12 inches so I cut them to fit across the page. The section that is cut out is behind the photo so it looks like it spans the full length of the layout. The colors that I used in the previous project to create the mixed media fringe are Spritz in Ruby, Color Splash in Pinking Of You, and Creameez in Berry Hot.

Finally, I added a few key pieces of ephemera to the ledge that I created then sprinkled around some of the chipboard stars and I was all done. Easy peasy.

Merry Christmas Scrapbook Layout Using the December Color Kitz

Hey all, Nicole here with my second layout of December.  I am using the December Color Kitz Bundle which is all sold out in the shop!  You can still find the Color Kitz Paintz and the Bonus Bundle.  If you decide to grab either of those, or anything else from the shop, please use my name Nicole in the shopping cart to grab you a little freebie with you order!

To start this page I used tore some papers to go on my background.  I then painted around where my photos would go using the December Color Kitz paints.  After that was dry, I put together my background and popped up my photos on some dimensional foam tape.

I started my embellishing of this page with the die cuts from the bundle.  I added a cluster to the right of my page, the upper left of my photos, and the lower right of my photos.  Once all the die cuts were in place I added silver stars and acetate snowflakes to the page.  I finished with some sequins from my stash.

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Believe In The Magic Of Christmas

 

Hi everyone! Melissa here with a new page for the amazing Shimmerz Paints! Go and see all the fun                                                                            treasures there! 

       

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto Prima paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and  made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso. While it was wet I sprinkled on UTEE and heated it. I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers. I taped on flowers and taped and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.I rubbed on gold and pearl mica powder on different  areas. I painted watercolor flowers and leaves on        watercolor paper and cut them out. I put them at the bottom and sides around the photo.

To add visual interest I added micro beads, seed beads, glass beads,sequins, crystals,pearls, glass glitter, chipboard,sisal,feathers, tulle,flowers,dried flowers, and bling and metal from my stash.

                                              A  lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

 Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today.  I used the Color Kitz, Paper Kitz and Bonuz Bundle to create this layout.  I backed the gorgeous acetate snowflakes with little blobs of mixed media goodness and added a little sequin on top.  I love how it turned out!

The little snow people are the cutest!  I fussy cut them out along with the frame and popped it all up with some dimensional adhesive.

The die cuts are stunning!  I lagged them around my photo to create a nice cluster.

Isn’t this the cutest snow scene?!

 Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this festive layout using the Color Kitz, Paper Kitz and Bonuz Bundlez.  I also used the gorgeous Cut Filez wreath which was perfect for creating an adorable shaker pocket!

I used the gorgeous Color Kitz to back the leaves and berries of the cutfile.  

The die cuts are stunning and help to tell this sweet story.

This patterned paper is a gorgeous monocromatic design and was perfect for the large wreath!
