All You Need Is Love

I have another Valentine project to share today.  I still had this sheet of paper from a retired pack of Valentine paper.  I thought I would use it for some pics  of my grand niece, Amya from last summer.  (I think I am caught up on all of last year's pics that I wanted to scrap! Yay)  Works perfect for celebrating 50 Years of the Beatles too!

I used my favorite set of stamps for this month - Hearts a Flutter and the coordinating framelites to cute out the hearts. Love these colors together too, I have used it them a lot recently.

Have a great day~ Shelley

Let's Get Sketchy

This is my wonderful nephew Tyler.  He is always up to something. There is definitely not a dull moment when he is around. He was at our house every weekend.  I miss those days. Soon he will have a baby of his own.
I am still having so much fun with My Digital Studio. It is so easy to make more scrap book pages.  I am getting so many more done. There is still time to get MDS free for a 30 day trial. You will love it. I used the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy for my page.

Scrap it wit a Song - My Heart Will Go On

This is our last week of celebrating the Oscars at
This week we have a beautiful song by
Celine Dion from the Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On"
This song is so pretty, yet so sad.

With the very first verse I knew I was going to make a page of my Dad. He has been gone 20 years now, but he often visits me in my dreams just to have a chat. The little photo in the bottom right is my Mom & Dad, with me peeking over the chair at them. I love that photo, it is very special to me. My page was created using My Digital Studio.  I used the sketch from Once Upon a Sketch

Hope you play along with us at Scrap it with a Song. All the entries this month have been gorgeous!

White Christmas - Scrap it with a Song

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....
Scrap it with a Song's challenge this week is White Christmas!

You can use the title or any lyrics from the song for your inspiration for your page. I used the lyrics "Children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow"

I made my page with My Digital Studio from Stampin Up. I got the cute font FREE from 1001 Free Fonts. The pictures are of my wonderful nephews Anthony & Braydon. The first one was taken in 2004 and the other one is just from last year. I came across some older photos and can't believe how much they have grown up! I miss them being little.

Remember you have until the end of the month to enter SIWAS challenge! We love to see your creations!

Scrap it With a Song

This week Scrap it with a Song is using an awesome rock poster for inspiration! And what better rock band than the one and only Grateful Dead!!!

There is so much inspiration you can take from this poster....

Here is what I created...

This is my handsome nephew, Tyler. I usually never get a good picture of him. He is usually making some terrible gesture or face at me.
I used the orange, green & purple from the poster.  I tried to find similar letters to use.

Little Bitty Challenge

I  finished my my second scrap page of the week!!!
This is for the Scrap It With a Song Challenge.
I just came across this challenge this past week, I love using songs for my scrap pages.

This is my Mom & Dad, around 1957. I wish you could see my Mom's pretty face, but I loved how the picture worked with the Newsprint DSP. My handsome Daddy is reading the comics and Mom is reading her magazine.

Have a great day!!
