The Simple OT on Instagram: "Hi 👋 pediatric OT and mom here! I teach children how to control their body and brain.

My child is a sensory seeker, which means they CRAVE sensory input from their environment! My child is constantly in motion and loves exploring the world through his sense of touch and movement (proprioception and vestibular).

🏠 I try to provide opportunities throughout our home for them to get these types of sensory input.

I have found that these items are some of our GO-TO activities for my SENSORY SEEKING child:
- Couch Slide
- Sensory Table (with reusable fillers)
- Scooter Board
- Ride-on Toys
- Crash Mats

These toys allow my child to engage in sensory input that his body craves, which ultimately helps promote regulation 🧠
