Fred Rogers with the first (adorable) Daniel Striped Tiger. The manufacturer objected to the puppet's use on the TV show, so a new Daniel was custom made for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. The second Daniel also had stripes, but they were as prominent. "Daniel Tiger" is the "son" of "Daniel Striped Tiger." Just a little trivia for tiger fans!
