Let's paint a Japanese Print inspired Artwork with Watercolor Paints in this Historical Japanese Art Making Style, perfect for Middle School Art Students. In this lesson, students will use watercolor paints to create an artwork inspired by historical Japanese art piece called Beauty in Snow. This artwork was inspired by art from Japan by Japanese artist Utagawa Kunimasa (Japanese, 1773–1810) and will allow students to explore watercolor techniques.
