"Friends" LO by DT Aurelie

Hello Everyone!

Today we have this fabulous layout by Designer Aurelie to inspire you:
This is what Aurelie shared about her layout:
"A dear friend of mine went on a mission trip to an African country a few years back. One day, she was showing me some of the photos she brought back and I absolutely fell in love with this one. I asked her if I could scrap it for her. I know, no shame! But I swear, it was calling to me! When I first saw the provided sketch, I started looking through my photos to see if I could incorporate four photos onto one layout. But then, I saw this photo and one again, was immediately drawn to it. So, I decided to switch the sketch around a bit and layer the photo on top of four different patterned papers instead. And yes, this is my second SOS design using Fancy Pants' Good Fellows collection. I mean, the colors are just SO perfect for the photo, don't you think? I used pieces of both the 12X12 and 6X6 patterned papers, corrugated cardstock, a tag, ephemera bits and puffy design stickers from the collection. I also incorporated some Magic Mesh, Studio Calico wood veneer stars, Stampin' Up cardstock and vellum, The Paper Company vellum, Making Memories staples, Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze, and yes, of course, hand-stitching using a Bazzill Basics stitching template and some DMC floss. There's also a flair piece on there, but I can't remember for the life of me who manufactured that. Any ideas out there? Elle's Studio, maybe?   Oh! And my plus 3 items? Stars, flair and a tag."

"Adorable" LO by DT Marie

Merry Christmas!

On this wonderful Christmas Day,
Designer Marie inspires us with this stunning layout:
This is what Marie shared about her layout:

"The sketch was scary at first but I gave it a try and finally decided to keep only a few elements from it: the left sidebar, a paper thread circle and papers underneath my picture. I wanted to stay close to the color combo, so I used red and green from the list. I also added stars made with modelling paste applied through a stencil, a flair and a small tag under it.

This is my last layout as a member of this fabulous team and I wanted to thank Brenda and Rochelle for making me part of SOS DT team. I had a real pleasure every month creating layouts with their great challenges. I'll keep looking for them next year.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas with your loved ones and a very happy new year."

"Hello everyone, only 3 more sleeps until the big man arrives!
It's also my daughter's sweet 16th so Happy Birthday Shiloh!
I love sketches where I can use lots of photos because there's always a story to tell...this one is a continuation of my last share here where my daughter and her friends were just having the best time hanging out a couple of days before Xmas.
From the lists I used Stars, Red, Glitter, Green and Gold.

"Jolly" LO by DT Zsoka

Happy Hump Day! :)

For today's inspiration, we have this fabulous layout by Designer Zsoka:
This is what Zsoka said about her layout:
"Hey there scrappy friends, Zsoka back with you today with my last layout for Scrap Our Stash :(. It's bittersweet having to say goodbye because I really loved it here! Rochelle and Brenda have been really sweet and the team has been absolutely drama free! But I have a lot on my plate now so I have to free up some time. Maybe one day I'll be back, who knows?! Thank you Rochelle and Brenda for picking me a year ago! Keep up the great job! I wish you all the best, don't be a stranger!

About my layout for this month's sketch challenge...I thought it would be good to do a Christmas layout for today! From the lists I chose:
1. red
2. glitter
3. tag(s) and gold
I followed the sketch pretty closely. I used different sized photos and left out a couple of tiny things but otherwise it's the same. For the circular element I chose to do a hand stitched circle. My papers and embellies are from this and last year's Pinkfresh Studio Xmas collections, Oh Joy and Christmas Wishes, together with a tag from Fancy Pants Wish Season, two acetate tags from Crate Paper Journey. The little deer is a cut file from The Cut Shoppe that I actually cut last year but never used, so I thought it would be good for my glitter element! Enamel dots are from last year's MME Xmas collection. I love how all these collections fit so nicely!

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones and a happy and healthy New Year!
See you around, Zsoka

This is what Carmen shared about her layout:
"Here's Elliot again, the day he turned out 6 months old, this month. I was pretty faithful to the sketch. Picked Stars and color RED, Glitter and color GREEN and Tag and color GOLD for this layout. Just a few stitches for the circle and a piece of this colorful patterned paper are enough for this wonderful sketch."

"Our Little Helper" LO by DT Sherri

Happy Monday!

For today's inspiration, we have this fun Christmas layout by Designer Sherri:
This is what Sherri said about her layout:

"It is time for the December Sketch + 3 Challenge from SCRAP OUR STASH! This was a fun one - and it gave me a chance to scrap some adorable photos that I've been holding on to for "just the right layout," of our Portuguese Water Dog, Maggie!

I used the following items from the 3 lists:
List #1 - Red
List #2 - Flair and Green
List #3 - Tag (for journaling) and Gold washi tape

Our Maggie always loves to help decorate our Christmas Tree. She is such a sweetie pie! I 3-D "popped" the photo so that I could slide a tag with journaling behind it. I love how cool the puffy lights look on the photo!!

Wishing you and your family a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season! Hoping you have a little time to play along with us at Scrap Our Stash this month!

"Blooming Fun with You" Layout by DT Cassie

Good Morning!

Designer Cassie is sharing her lovely layout with us today:
This is what Cassie shared about her layout:
"It is time for the last Sketch + Challenge of 2016. It is so hard to believe that 2017 is just around the corner. These sketch challenges are always one of my favorites because they really seem to get my mojo flowing. I really love how this sketch has a variety of paper and four photos. I went with four 4x4 photos. From the lists this time I used Bow, Glitter, Tag & Gold. I decided to angle my block of photos but I kept the rest of my layout close to the sketch."

"Joyful X'mas" Layout by DT Natsuko

It's Saturday!

Today,  Designer Natsuko inspires us with this beautiful Christmas Layout:
This is what Natsuko said about her layout:
"Hi everyone!! Hope you're enjoying scrapping:)  This is what I used for this challenge: LIST1 - BOW & RED, LIST2 - GLITTER & GREEN,  and LIST3  -GOLD.
I followed the sketch quite faithfully, but instead of using borders, I fussy cut parcels from a Christmas paper, and lined them up. For the circle, I hand stitched it with shiny red thread. I fussy cut some bows, holly and a bell and popped some up.It was really fun making this page! See more details at http://natsukoslittlecraftroom.blogspot.jp/

Thank you♡

Cozy Socks Layout by DT Steffanie

Happy Friday!

For today's inspiration, we have this wonderful layout by Designer Steffanie:

This is what Steffanie shared about her layout:
"Last December I created this photo collage on my phone after a fun weekend with some girlfriends. I liked it so much that I decided to print and use it here as a photo block. I pulled this Fancy Pants “Oh Deer!” collection from my stash and went to work. I stayed really true to the sketch with the exception of eliminating the stitched circle. For the stash part of the challenge, here is what I used: (1) stars, (2) glitter (I used Stickles on the title letters---although it's hard to see in the photo), green, (3) tag."

"Adore" Layout by DT Rachelle Olaridge

Hello!
Thank you for stopping by!
Today SOS Designer Rachelle is sharing the lovely layout she created
inspired by the
December Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
Rachelle:
Hi there SOS friends! Rachelle here sharing my design take for this stash challenge. I was inspired by the book cover colors. I love working the lime green. So getting started was easy because I had this awesome background cardstock by Bo Bunny. Next, I applied stamps, edge distressing, and inking. Layers and more layers was a must for this design. Then it was time for the embellishments and journal line. I applied the stripe paper and my fave enamel dots and that's it! I hope you have been inspired today to start on your challenge layout. I can't wait to see your creative work.
Thanks for stopping by and to see more of this design be sure to stop by my blog:

"Very Merry Christmas" Layout by DT Aurelie Cormier

Today we are sharing a beautiful layout created by talented SOS Designer Aurelie
inspired by the
December Book Inspired Stash Challenge:

Aurelie:
"Very much inspired by the holiday feel to the inspiration piece, I opted to search my stash of Christmas photos from years past. I've always particularly loved this photo of our son, Louis-Olivier, taken five years ago during Christmastime, but I had yet to scrap it. Perfect! I then went "shopping" in my stash (as I and a dear scrappy friend call it!), and found My Mind's Eye's Christmas on Market Street collection, c. 2015. I hadn't even broken into it, yet! I've always loved the color palette in this collection and that 12X12 background piece reminded me of the green background on the inspiration piece so away I went. I positioned nine different 6X6 patterned pieces in a grid formation (from the MME collection, but also from Simple Stories' SN@P! Basics collection). I then stitched a snowflake using a template a made myself and some DMC floss and layered some Stampin' Up and The Paper Company vellum pieces beneath my photo. I then layered some of the MME collection's enamel dots, cardstock stickers and chipboard elements along with the title I made using a brand new Close to My Heart die (L-O-V-E!) on top of the grid. Can't forget those journalling strips made with some Stampin' Up cardstock.
And how about those swirvy borders on each vertical side of the layout? Love how they bring the focus straight to the photo. Kudos to the inspiration piece for that one! ;) And the stash challenge? As mentioned above, I used enamel dots and yes, one of the pieces of patterned paper is indeed striped. SO very happy with how this layout turned out. Nothing complicated. Simple, yet totally complete. Hope it inspired you to dig through those older photos you love and get them scrapped using pieces in your stash you have yet to use."

"Dream" Layout by DT Marie C Rodier

Good morning everyone!
Today's amazing feature was created by SOS Designer Marie
inspired by the
Marie:
"My main inspiration was the color combo. I chose a red striped paper from Bo Bunny Cottage collection from last year, some Double Dots leftover also from Bo Bunny, an Heidi Swapp black piece. To give more contrast, I used lime straws and Creative Embellishments painted in black. Finally, I added black enamel dots on my snowflakes, a few stickers as journaling and a heart flair. I really lOOOOve how this layout turned out."
