Tiraque Municipality is the first municipal section o the Tiraque Province in the Cochabamba Depairtment, Bolivie. At the time o census 2001 - still includin Shinahota Canton (nou Shinahota Municipality) - it haed a population o 35,017. Its seat is Tiraque.

The municipality is dividit intae twa cantons. They are (their seats in parentheses):

• Palca Canton - (Palca)
• Tiraque Canton - (Tiraque)

In 2009 Shinahota Canton (namit Central Busch Canton an aw) got the status o a municipality. Nou Shinahota Municipality wi its seat Shinahota is the seicont municipal section o the Tiraque Province.
