Gill came intae the public limelicht wi his breakthrou track “Paigam,” follaeed bi sic hits sic lik “Daru,” “Madhaania,” “Khedan De Din,” wi Sunidhi Chauhan, an mony ithers lik “Mail Kara De” an “Dildarian.” His album Judaa wis consider ane o the maist successfu Panjabi albums in 2011. He follaeed that up wi a lead role in Manmohan Singh's Ik Kudi Punjab Di. His next film Taur Mittran Di for Jimmy Shergill productions released in Mey 2012, it paired him wi actress Surveen Chawla an MTV VJ an Bollywood actor Rannvijay Singh. It opened tae a belaw average response, it haed the seivent heichest openin day in Punjabi films.[7] His next movie wis Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 which pairs him wi Punjabi rapper Honey Singh an actress Mandy Takhar. Efter that he wis be seen in Saadi Love Story that co starred Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa an Surveen Chawla an wis directit bi Dheeraj Rattan who's written several blockbusters o Punjabi cinema.[8]
