A DELIGHTFUL little gift!!!
I've been meaning to share a little something with you. A few weeks ago I received the most GORGEOUS and DELIGHTFUL little gift on my doorstep. One of those little gifts that when you open you GASP so loudly that anyone standing close by asks... "Are you OK!!!" in this case it was my eldest Flossie... asking "Mummy ... You OK???"
Well I am happy to report that YES I was OK... and the gasping only continued as I emptied the contents of the box!!
The GORGEOUS Adele sent this little bundle over for me...and I have to say it made my day. I still have the contents sitting here on my desk and it indeed brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.
Here is my GORGEOUS parcel:-
See that AMAZING flower in the front there... well see this GORGEOUS little handmade bag... this is what it arrived in!!!... Isn't it BEAUTIFUL!!!????
And this card... WELL!!! Nothing short of breathtaking!!! And I might add even more STUNNING in real life!!!!!
The words inside were absolutely beautiful!! Im SOOOO very lucky to have met so many wonderful, clever and talented ladies through my little hobby. I can't wait to get to meet Adele.. hopefully at next years Convention.
Thanks SO much for stopping by.

Pocket Notes ... Best Wishes Gift
Hello Again.... I Know!!! Another night with TWO posts... what's going on!!!
I just wanted to share with you very quickly a little extra gifty I made for my BEAUTIFUL friend for her birthday. Just a little something extra to go with her pressie.
We made these little card folders at the Stampin' Up! Regionals last year, so I thought I'd whip up another for a little gifty. So very quick and a really lovely extra something to add to a present bundle for someone special.
Again I've used up my 'Retired' In Colours bits and pieces, well mainly this time because it goes with her Birthday card.
I've used Blue Bayou as the Folder Base and some Soft Sky and Falls Flowers DSP. The stamp is from Live Your Dreams (also recently retired).
The card on the inside (there's three cards and three envelopes) have a Blue Bayou and Soft Sky square and two butterflies on each, one Old Olive and one Blue Bayou ( yes MORE cutting!!!!) the sentiment is from Short and Sweet, I wanted to make it something that she can use. I also lined the inside of each envelope with some Falls Flowers DSP, unfortunately I'd run out of the matching piece from the front... but I don't think she'll mind.
Hope you like.
Thanks for stopping by.

Cupcakes and a Book!!!!
Hello!!!!
Well I'm pleased to say that I FINALLY managed to sit myself down and make a couple of things... still plenty more to come, but at least I've made a start!!!
My friend Tracy had her birthday in September and her daughter Sarah had her 6th Birthday last week so here are a couple of pics of the the little pressie I made for Tracy and the card I made for Sarah.
First up Tracys pressie:-
I made a note book using some Soft Sky Textured cardstock, some wide Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon and some Fall Flowers DSP.
I covered a chipboard letter with some DSP also before layering everything and sticking it all together. These are so simple to create yet make an absolutely GORGEOUS little gift.
And now for Sarah's card... and a little story to go along with it!!!!
I got the idea for this card from here and here . Ive used Chocolate Chip Card as the base which I've stamped with the Circles/Bubbles from the Big Bold Birthday Set, then I've layered some Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink Cardstock and then stamped the cupcake base in Chocolate Chip Ink onto some Whisper White Cardstock together with the 'Make a Wish' sentiment from the same stamp set also stamped in Chocolate Chip ink. The top of the cupcake was 'Rock and Rolled' using Pretty in Pink and then Regal Rose around the edges and the candles were stamped in Choc Chip, coloured with So Safron and then dipped in some Dazzling Diamonds. The ribbon is the very GORGEOUS Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain.
Now for the story to go with the card. I made this card in the morning, wrapped the pressie for Sarah and took the card out to stick on top (which I did) however... I actually FORGOT to write in the card... yep that's right... I gave a birthday card and didn't write in it!!!! How terrible is that... now I'm going to blame that on my current lack of sleep... what else can I blame... well perhaps the Blonde Hair, but we'll go with lack of sleep for now!!!! hahaha.
Hope you like these little items and I'll be back soon with some more things to share.

Oh So Lovely!!!!
I've been a tad quiet lately, haven't I??? So SORRY about that.... Have been REALLY busy... planning and cutting cards for our 'Tart and Tangy' Class last week..... which was soooo much fun (yes I will post some more pics of that soon...well of the little treats I made for the girls!!!) and then planning, making and cutting cards for our 'Seasons of Joy' Class this week and of course making and cutting cards for the Lovely Bec's Workshop on Friday Night....(HELLOOOO BEC!!!!).
I will post some photos of the cards we made at Bec's soon, must recharge the camera battery first though and then of course prepare my BUMP for another 'On the Ground, Deck, Photo Shoot', which is becoming increasingly MORE DIFFICULT to pull off... hahahaha.
Anyway back on track... here are some pictures of the set of cards and card holder I made as a gift for Bec. I've seen many of these card/letter holders made and thought it was about time I made one for myself. And I don't know why it's taken me so long, they really are so EASY to make and look so gorgeous when they are all together.
The lovely Sarah Klass had made a set of cards for one of her Hostesses using the gorgeous 'Oh So Lovely' Hostess Stamp Set.... which I must admit until just recently I had overlooked in the catalouge, but not anymore!!!!!.. So I got my inspiration from Sarah and changed the colours and dimension of the cards a tad for Bec.
And here they all are:-
I've used Confetti White Cardstock for all of them and the inks and ribbons are all from the current 'In-Colours' range. The first one is made with Purely Pomegrante, the second with Blue Bayou and lastly, Groovy Guava.
Here is a pic of the Card Holder I made to put them all in:-
This first shot is of the finished card holder all closed up... I just made a Belly Band with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou Cardstock and stamped another flower and coloured it in then attached it to a scallop which I'd punched the centre out of. And here is an open shot of it with all of the cards and envelopes:-
This gift really was a pleasure to make and not only 'Oh so Lovely' but 'Oh so Easy'. And such a beautiful gift to give to someone special.
Have I managed to convince you to hold you're own Workshop.... you may even qualify to choose either this gorgeous Oh So Lovely Stamp set or the ever versatile 'So Many Sayings' Stamp set for yourself. Contact me if you are interested!!!!
I hope you like them!!!
Here is a list of everything I used:-
Stamps:- Oh So Lovely (Hostess Level 1), So Many Sayings (Hostess Level 1)
Card:- Soft Sky, Confetti White, Blue Bayou
Ink:- Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, Purely Pomegranate, River Rock
Accessories:- Groovy Guava Double Stitched Ribbon, Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Blender Pens.

Tart and Tangy!!!
I've been a busy little (mmm OK... Big) person this week, and have sat down and made the box and cards we'll be making at my upcoming 'Tart and Tangy' Night. Oh and lets not forget that I took the photos too... now if you can imagine me outside, 8month pregnant belly, kneeling on the decking trying to get a good photo!!!!... you will truly appreciate my efforts and of course I'm sure get a nice little giggle out of it, while you're trying to visualise all that!!!! hahaha.
Anyway, I've made four cards and the gift box and they are REALLY simple to do. So here they all are:-
First up.... the gorgeous little box that all of the cards we make will fit nicely into. I've use Old Olive cardstock as the base of the box and then layered Bashful Blue and pieces of Summer Picnic DSP onto the top. I've also used Red Wide Grosgrain and the Cherry Stamp from 'Tart and Tangy' cut it out with my circle punches and layered it onto a circle of Old Olive and a Red Scallop.
Now for the cards:-
First up.... this one is made with the Apple stamp and the Apple Print paper from Summer Picnic. I've used some Old Olive Wide Grosgrain and layered the apple image onto an Old Olive circle. The base of the card is Whisper white and there is also another layer of Real Red. The sentiment is from the Level 1 Hostess Set 'So Many Sayings' and it says Thanks SO Much.
Next card:-
STRAWBERRY!!!! mmmm.... this one again has a base of Whisper White (actually they all do). Here I've used a piece of the Flowers and Bashful Blue Print from Summer Picnic DSP with a strip of Real Red and then a piece of Real Red Wide Grosgrain to finish it off. The Strawberry stamp is layered on a circle of Real Red and an Old Olive Scallop. Again the sentiment (hugs & kisses) is from the Level 1 Hostess set 'So Many Sayings'.... Interested in this Hostess set YET.... well why not book a workshop and it could be yours.
Card No. 3 is.....
CHERRIES!!!!.... This one is done by layering Real Red, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and a piece of the Cherry paper from Summer Picnic. Add a knotted piece of Real Red Wide Grosgrain and the Cherry stamp layered on an Old Olive cirlce and Real Red Scallop, it's done. The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from 'It's your Birthday.
And last but not least..... Card No. 4:-
ORANGES!!!!! This card I've made by using a layer of Old Olive, some Whisper White and the Stripes from Summer Picnic, then finished it off with the Orange stamp layered on a Bashful Blue circle and Groovy Guava Scallop, then a piece of Groovy Guava Double stitched Ribbon to finish it. The sentiment again is from 'It's your Birthday'.
Oh and we must have a GROUP SHOT.... so here they all are together!!!!

Ok.... so I had to cheat here and remove myself and my BUMP from the ground and relocate to higher ground and use the Barbie!!!!! Sorry Girls, but I didn't think I could handle another photo on the ground.... well my BUMP couldn't anyway... hahahah.
Now I MUST thank the lovely Rebecca Ross who shared her ideas for this Tart and Tangy class with me.... THANKYOU Rebecca!!!!! I've just adapted a few of the cards.
Sooooo.... there you have it your official SNEAK PEEK at what you'll get to make. Let me know if you are interested in coming... but be quick... you don't want to miss out. I can't wait to get us all together again to do this set.... It really is a cute little stamp set and the Summer Picnic Designer Paper is GORGEOUS.
I'll have more pics soon.... I must get started on some Chrissy ones now!!!! For another Sneak Peek!!!!

All About Gifts!!!
Well lastnight was the second 'All About Gifts' night and I think (hope) it's safe to say that everyone on both nights enjoyed themselves and loved what they created. (Hello Lovely Ladies!!!).
Needless to say there was an excessive amount of M&M's consumed, together with homemade muffins and of course (for me) not ONE but TWO evening full of chatter!!!... oh and the occasional BOOT from Baby Kale', when I was least expecting it... hahaha.... makes for an interesting night when I'm half way through explaining something and I let out a little YELP!!!!.
Well here are the goodies that we all made, plus a couple of extras.
First up.... we made a CD Holder, I got the tutorial and colour ideas from the very talented Makessha Byl (who had sent me a CD Holder she had made earlier this year.... all beautifully decorated, just so that I could see how it was made... so THANKYOU Makeesha!!!!).
The girls got to fight over who got what paper... the flowers or the dots, but then some were even VERY brave and turned their paper over and made a CD Holder completely different to the two I showed them. AWESOME. Both of these have been made using Real Red card stock for the base and strips of the Summer Picnic DSP (available in the SPRING MINI!!) with some Old Olive Grosgrain, which I have just realised in the picture has slipped down...oops!!!!
Then I've used my Scallop and circle punches for the embelishment and on the flower one I've used the flower stamp from the Level 2 Hostess set 'Cause for Celebration'.
Next up we made these gorgeous little 'Gift Card Holders':-
This has Really Rust as the card base and then we used some of the DSP Apple Cider (again from the new Mini Catalogue). The saying is from the Level 1 Hostess Set 'So Many Sayings' and the embelishment has been made using the Boho Backgrounds stamp set (LOVE this set!!) and my Scallop and Circle punches. The pattern on the scallop (green) was done by reinserting the scallop once cut back into the punch and turning it slightly and then punching it again. Then we added some River Rock Double Stitched Ribbon and a couple of Brads to secure the 'Gift Card Pouch' and the job was done. These can also be adapted to a larger size to allow you to fit a photo into them if you wanted to send photos to friends.
And then.... we made a 'CHOCKIE SLIDER' mmmmmm!!!!!! oh and fully adapted in size to fit a 'Cadbury Block' into it.... YUM!!!!
This is the one that the girls made.... and we've used Brilliant Blue as the base and the layers are Wild Wasabi, some paper from the Jersey Shore DSP range and Soft Sky and Whisper white.... the stamp set I used was from Boho Backgrounds, but the girls were all super creative and some of them chose a slightly different layout and different sentiment using the Cheery Chat stampset. It was all finished off with some Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon and a little tag.
I thought I'd make a chrissy one too, so here it is.
I've used Old Olive as the base and then some Real Red as the bottom layer with a strip of paper from the Dashing DSP range, then another layer of Old Olive and the stamp from 'Seasons of Joy (Mini Catalogue) was stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla Cardstock. Add some Real Red Grosgrain and a little tag, again the stamp was from Seasons of Joy, and that is my first Christmas Gift ready to go.... and 5months early!!!!
I'm nearly done!!! PROMISE. But I couldn't resist making this next card. From the minute I saw it on Kristina's blog, I just had to make one.
My very own PINK christmas card....
I've used Pretty In Pink as the card base and stamped it with stamps from the Seasons of Joy stamp set (you MUST get this set... it is just GORGEOUS!!!) Then added some Wild Wasabi textured card stock and another layer of Whisper White with the the sentiment stamped in Regal Rose. Add a splash of Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain and WHOLLA..... who said you couldn't have a PINK Chrissy Card???
So there you go..... all the goss on two jam packed evenings of Chatter, M&M consumption and 'All About Gifts' making and stampin', oh and of course ONE pink Chrissy Card. All the lovely ladies who came to both nights should be sooooo proud of themselves.... they did a wonderful job.
Hope you like.

All about Gifts!!!
Hello!!!!!
I'm still here!!.. I know I've been a little bit quiet recently posting new creations, so I apologise about that. But I thought I'd share this little treat with you.
At my last Stamp-a-Stack, which was heaps of fun, I got a couple of requests to show some GIFT ideas, given that there are a lot of 'Little People' about to have birthdays and of course the always and ever pending CHRISTMAS!!!!! (more on that later!!)... sooooo I made a little gift box which was the fastest gift box I've EVER made and is absolutely perfect for a Lolly Bag at one of the many birthdays that will be popping up over the next few months. It's also a sneek peak at what we'll be making at the next 'Class' I hold... rather than making just cards, I thought we'd ALL be brave (yep you too Bec!!!!) and make it 'All About Gifts'!!! I've got a few more things to make and post up for you, but the ever popular 'Chockie Slider' will also be included, so if you are interested in coming to one of these classes let me know (you can leave a comment on this post too if you like!!).. there will be more details in my newsletter which I'll hopefully send out this week.
Anyway... here is a pic of my little GIFT BOX!!!!
Isn't it cute???
Sarah
xx
And here's what I used:-
Stamps:- Wild About You (LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!!!)
Paper:- Certainly Celery DSP, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink:- Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou
Accessories:- Paper Piercer/Mat, Mellow Moss Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Strip.
