Designer Challenge - Lake or Ocean

It's Designer Challenge Day once again and this time we are to make a project with the theme of "Lake or Ocean".   I had lots of fun making this one because each animal made me smile.  I had all the right animals and, of course, the Paper People to make Noah.  The ark seems a little crowded but that's what makes it fun, and the snails are the last to arrive. You can see all the products linked below - simply click on the photo to get more info.

The rainbow is made from inked vellum and then attached to the ark - so they move together.

Happy Birthday & Bon Voyage

Howdy friends,

Today I have a fun card to share with you - it has a bit of a funny greeting.  This combination seems strange but my friend left on a trip to Antarctica on her birthday.

I used the Boat Pop Up with the new Cruise Ship Add-ons.  Since she is going to Antarctica I thought a penguin would be fun sitting on an ice burg with his gift.

Just Popping Up To Say -

 Hello Crafty Friends,

My card for today is best described as "Clean & Simple".  The new Popcorn die set from Karen Burniston is so much fun that not much else is needed (except for some fun stamps).

You will need to have the Flower Pot Pop-Up die set as a foundation to use the Popcorn set.  I have
linked all the products I used below as well as Karen's instruction video for the Flower Pot.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game!

 Hello friends,

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the Popcorn die set in a different way.  I decided to go with the lyrics to "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". My focus is on the Crackerjacks as in "buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks".

For the front of my card I used the Paper People and gave each of them their own personality.

I used the Postage Pop-Up to make the box pop up.  For the box I used some free clipart online.  I made the Popcorn the color of Cracker Jacks and then embossed them with clear embossing powder to make them appear shinny.  The peanuts are lemons from the Tiny Trees Pop-up. To create the seats in the stadium I used the chair from the Family Room die set.

All the products I used are linked below.

Designer Challenge - Bouquet

Hello again friends,

It's Designer Challenge Day and this month Karen has challenged the team with the theme of "Bouquet"

I decided to make mine a bouquet of hearts.  I used lots of hearts and the Little Twist Panel Pop-up to make them pop out.

Sneak Peek 2

 Hello Friends,

Today I have the second sneak peek for the Karen Burniston January 2025 release.  The team is excited, and we have all made some great cards to share. Be sure to visit the Karen Burniston Pop Up Peeps on Facebook to see some great inspiration.

It's always more fun to see a pop-up in action so here is a short reel for you - hope you enjoy.

For this Mother's Day card I used the new Bouquet Bits - you can see the adorable birdhouse and bird from this set as well as all the great new flowers and base from the Flower Pot Add-Ons.  No card would be complete without a lovely sentiment.  This one comes from the new set called "Bouquet Sayings".  You can see all the new die sets in the video below.
