Liver Function Tests (LFT), a crucial blood examination, assess liver health without necessitating special preparation or fasting. Applicable to all genders, aged 10 and above, this test evaluates various liver markers like enzymes (ALT, AST), bilirubin, and albumin. With a normal range of 8 to 40 U/L, results typically take 5-6 hours. Priced between 300-800 INR, actual costs may fluctuate based on location, lab type, and procedural nuances.
