This is my version of a healthy pecan pie

And with only 6 ingredients and no baking they are super easy to make too.

The crunchy base is gluten free with crushed up pecans combined with nut butter, maple and a little coconut oil and the gooey topping is sticky and delicious with dates and more pecans. It’s then simply topped with some pecan halves.

Makes 15 squares

Base ingredients:
1 cup pecans @justnatural_uk
1 cup ground almonds @justnatural_uk
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/4 cup nut butter (I used peanut)
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp sea salt, optional

Topping ingredients:
