Frederick C. Robie House, designed 1908-1909, built 1909-1911.  The Robies were forced to see the house after just 14 months.  David Lee Taylor, bought the house and all of its Wright-designed contents in December 1911, but Taylor died less than a year later.  Marshall D. Wilber bought it in November 1912. The Wilbers were the last family to live in the House, residing there for 14 years.  In June 1926, the Wilbers sold the house and its contents to the Chicago Theological Seminary.
