Pile It On! Sunday!

Hi there! Even though I love the holiday season, sometimes the time after Christmas feels like the day after the storm. It feels nice when things get back to normal and are calm again, don't you think so? Maybe it's just me :)

This week at Pile It On! Challenges, we have another fun challenge for you: use 3 or more ribbons! It might seem hard at first, but you'll see that there are other ways to use ribbon besides what we normally use it for. Join us for some fun and remember, all you need to do is just combine our challenge with another challenge!

I was running late (as always) and I had to take a quick picture of my project. As you can tell from the snowman's scarf, the glue hadn't dried yet! Sorry about that! Princess for a day - Whimsy Princess Coach

I can't believe the great luck that I had being able to join the Whimsy team. Not only is everyone so nice, but very talented and Denise is one of the most generous people I know anywhere. I probably sound really sappy, but I'm just feeling really lucky :)

This is my Whimsy Stamps creation for the week using Whimsy Princess Coach. Can you believe I've never used this stamp? There are so many possibilities to it! I paper-pieced the coach and colored the rest. Enjoy

Stamp: Whimsy Princess Coach; Ink: Copics, Memento Tuxedo Black; Paper: Cosmo Cricket Earth Love; Accessories/tools: rhinestones, ribbon, Prima flowers, brads

Using up some Christmas goodies!

Hello everyone! Even though I posted this card last night, I'm back to share the details today! It was a stamped image which was gifted to me for Christmas and I thought these were the perfect colors to go with the card. Unfortunately, I think I need to buy one of those fancy lamps that really tell you what color you're looking at. The blue on her dress does NOT match the cardstock! When I looked at it on my monitor, all I could do was sigh. Better luck next time!

Stamp: Kraftin' Kimmie Charlotte; Ink: Copics; Paper: Cosmo Cricket Early Bird; Accessories/tools: corner punch, MS border punch, buttons, brads, ribbon, Prima flowers

  7. Little Red Wagon - Polka Dots
  8. Sketch Saturday - Sketch #85

To Sir, With Love

Despite the strange things that happened over the weekend, I managed to squeeze this card in! I think I'll be giving this card to my husband this year for Valentine's Day because I really liked that way that the pleating turned out (I layered the paper with some ribbon.) Not that he'll notice, but I will :D I hope you have a fun time making Valentine's Day for your sweetheart and girlfriends!

The charm on this card actually hangs straight down, but it was a quick picture and I didn't feel like fixing so that I could take another picture :P And the wings are actually layered, but you can't tell because of the angle. I feel like I'm making excuses, lol. Oh well, here you go.
