Many thanks for all your lovely OWL cards this last week - you can see them all on the sampler over at my favourites blog - they are wonderful creatures in my opinion and your cards show just how lovely they are.
This week we have a lovely sponsor in Caroline from Caroline's Rubber Stamps and she has given three unmounted stamps as a prize - a Patterned Christmas Tree, Jewelled Snowflake and some Lacy Snowflake essentials. Do be sure to check out her site and blog to see some of her fabulous creations and supplies.
Now for the challenge which will last for 3 weeks as I am away on my painting holiday with my friend Dragon from 21st September.
So what is the challenge you ask? Yes, you guessed it - CHRISTMAS but with STARS please. You can add one or more than one as you think fit and this time I would like you to use at least one rubber stamp.
As usual you may create whatever you fancy be it atc, card, scrapbook layout, tag, inchie, 4 x 4 - the choice is yours. As always add your creation to your blog or email me direct with the picture if you don't have a blog. Leave me a comment with a direct link to your work of art and I will pop over to have a look. Please include a link to my challenge site on your blog. Thanks and enjoy the challenge.
Here is my card to give you inspiration - as if you need it.
I will choose the winner on my return from holiday so please be patient.

OWLS CHALLENGE
Here is my Owl fat book page made using Lindsay Mason's lovely owl stamp and my favourite cat stamp from many moons ago. The fat book page background was created using a Cuttlebug embossing folder overinked with different colour die inks and the cat background used alcohol inks. Yellow crystal lacquer was used for the eyes.
PS please post using Mr Linky on the post below and not on this one - it has got a bit confusing lol.
Tune in again tomorrow for a chance to win a fab prize sponsored by the lovely Caroline.

AWARD TIME AGAIN
The lovely Lyn (Spyder) has given me this award today on the understanding that I tell you 5 things about me and then pass it on to 5 more bloggers.
So here goes:-
1. My husband and I are returning to Bermuda after 8 years away. He has a new job there. I shall be spending half my time there and half here from now on.
2. I am to be Assistant to the Director for the Panto in Bermuda this year, it is 'Robin Hood' this time.
3. On Sept 21st I go on my first ever painting holiday- 2 wks to France, Italy and Switzerland - am I excited - yes I think so.
4. I just helped to raise £50.00 for the Highland Hospice and Children First charities selling cards and donating to my friend Bob's Bikeathon.
5. I am going to have to retake my driving test in Bermuda as my licence has run out - I am dreading it!! after driving for so many years who wouldn't?
I really am finding this too difficult to choose 5 people so if you don't have this award please take it and feel free to pass it on to other deserving bloggers.
You are all wonderful friends and do some fabulous works of art.
Do check out Lyn's blog as she makes some lovely stuff.

CHALLENGE 74 'THE ROSE'
Firstly an apology for this not going up earlier and also for not showing the slide shows . Could not get on blogger at all last night and had slide show problems too. Hope to resolve all later in the day computer glitches allowing.
Thanks for all your entries - will look at them later Blogger allowing - those I saw were fabulous.
This week I am in song mode and 'The Rose' is a lovely one. Westlife of course recorded it recently but I also have it as an instrumental by Acker Bilk from years ago - love the clarinet sound.
Hopefully Blogger will improve as the week goes on and I will be able to get on and see how you are all doing.
Here is my card, made from Steph's 'Special Edition Roses' cd and covered with an acetate bubble (the light catching the bubble on the photo).
