Anything Goes Cardz TV DT Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another "Anything Goes" DT Challenge!  Halloween is quickly approaching and I have lots of treats to make.  As for any holiday, my mom always asks me to make treat holders for co-workers and the people at her bank.  These are little lidded milk cartons with a Hostess Cupcake inside.

I used "More Spooky Sayings," "Trick or Treat," and "Frankly Frightful."  Lots of fun sentiments for treat holders and cards!  The little die cuts are from the Cardz TV Stamps "Hallo-weenies" set. These are perfect for cards or treat holders because they are already colored for you and makes the project go much faster.

Now it's your turn!  Simply create any project.  It can be a treat holder, card or anything you would like because, "Anything Goes!"  You have until noon EST Thursday, October 27th.  I can't wait to see what you create!  I hope you visit my design teams sisters' blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  Have a great weekend!

Cardz TV 3D DT Challenge #4 Pumpkin Project

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday, so that means a new Cardz TV Challenge.  Our challenge was to create a 3D project using pumpkins.  I decided to make a box for Tic Tacs.

I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Let's Face It" for the faces.  This is a fun set with cute little faces.  The sentiment comes from the "Fall Fun" set.  I cut out ovals for the Tic Tac box.  I used chenille stems for the pumpkin stems.  For the little pumpkins, I used a 3/4 x 4 inch piece of cardstock.  I scored them (with the long edge at the top of my score board) at 1, 2, 3.  I added sticky strip to one end, added the Hershey Kiss, and fold over the flap with the sticky strip.  For the pumpkins I used a small oval punch.

Okay, now it's your turn!  Just make a 3D project using pumpkins.  Add it to Mary's Blog.  You have until noon EST on Thursday November 12.  Mary will be giving away a set of her wonderful stamps to the winner.  I can't wait to see what you create!

I hope you have a fabulous weekend and have a safe and Happy Halloween!  I look forward to setting our clocks back an hour.  Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

For my treat holders I used the "Frankly Frightful" and "Trick or Treat" sets.  These are awesome sets for treat holders and cards!  The papers are from Doodlebug and Stampin' Up!  The lamp post is a Doodlebug sticker.  And let's not forget the yummy treats!  My daughter loves the bottle pops so I decided to make a treat holder that would hold them.

Ok, now it's your turn!  Just create a candy wrapper or treat holder for Halloween.  Then add it to Mary'sBlog.  You have until noon EST October 28th, 2015.  I hope you take the challenge and I can't wait to see what you create!

"Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  "Welcome to the "Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge!  I'm so excited to start up our Challenges again!  Our wonderful Mary gave our DT a challenge to make a candy wrapper or candy holder for Halloween treats.  All my friends know how much I LOVE to make treat holders.

The sentiment on the fry box came from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Trick or Treat."  For the fry box, I used the Stampin' Up! fry box die.  The sentiment on the hamburger box came from the "More Spooky Sayings" stamp set.  I used the hamburger die from Stampin' Up! for the box.  The sentiment on the milk carton came from the "October 31st" set.  For the milk carton, I had found this TUTORIAL.  I had to change the lid a little bit longer to fit the box with the soda can inside.  I changed the measurements to 3 1/2 x 10 1/2.  The score marks along the 10 1/2 side are the same,
2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, and 10.  The scorelines along the 3 1/2 side are the ones I changed.  They are 3,
4 1/4.  The papers are from Doodlebug.  The little mini clothespins are from Recollections.  The spider is from my local grocery store.

Now it's your turn to take the challenge!  Just make a candy wrapper or a candy holder for Halloween treats.  Easy peasy!  Just head on over to Mary's Blog and add your project.  You have until noon EST Thursday October 16th to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamps to the winner.

In case you've been wondering where I have been, life has been upended recently.  My dad has cancer that has gotten much much worse.  So needless to say life has been hectic.  Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you take the challenge.  Don't forget to stop by the other ladies' blogs on the DT for more inspiration, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Treacherous Treats

Hello my crafty friends!  I just wanted to share a few treats I made today.  I was shopping with my mom at a local grocery store and found these plastic goblets.  I'm not sure if you can see the skull and crossbones on them.  I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo punch.  For the sentiment, I used a retired Stampin' Up stamp set for the sentiment.  I attached it to a Pixy Stick.  Throw in some candy and add a bat ring and voila! Simple and fun.  I've made so many treat holders I haven't had a chance to take pictures of them all to share yet.  Hopefully I will before Halloween.  Right now I'm working on some treat holders for my daughter's basketball team's opening game on Wednesday.  Whew!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!  I would love to hear what you think.  Hope you're having a great day!

I've used different papers from Doodlebug, Graphic 45, and Me and My Big Ideas.  The "Treats for BOO! is from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I used the 3/4 inch circle punch for the sentiment, a 1 1/4 scallop circle punch, and the 1 3/4 scallop circle punch.  If you haven't purchased the envelope score board, I highly recommend it!  I may have to do a giveaway soon.

Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge #38 "Ghost and Goblin Party"

Hello my friends!  It's Friday!  That means another Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge!  We were to make a card, layout or other project using ghosts and goblins.  For my project I used two Cardz TV Stamps sets.  The "Things that go bump in the night" came from the "More Spooky Sayings."  The "Happy Halloween" came from the "Trick or Treat" set.

I used my Stampin' Up owl builder punch for the ghost, witch and bat.  I used part of that punch for the bristles of the broom.  The witches hat was made using the small oval punch, and part of the Blossom Builder punch.   For the top of the tree I used a scallop punch for the the tree.  The patterned paper is from a Doodlebug 6 x 6 Halloween paper pack.  For the fence I used the Stampin' Up scallop border punch and scored it.  The spider is a Studio G punch.   For the inside I used my favorite corner punch.

Now it's your turn!  Create a card, layout, or other craft project for Halloween using ghosts and goblins.  You have until noon EST October 31st.  Once you've completed it, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your project.  She will be giving away a set of her awesome stamps to the winner.

I hope you stop by the other ladies' blogs on the Design Team for more inspiration.  You won't be disappointed.  I would really love to hear what you think of my project.  If you are a new visitor to my blog, I hope you become a follower.  I would LOVE to have you!  Have a great weekend!

Trick-or-Treat

TGIF!   If you are looking for my Cardz TV Go-to Galz Breast Cancer Awareness challenge Click Here.  I mentioned on my last post I was working on some treat holders with the We Are Memory Keepers envelope punch board.  Here are some of them.  The top three grouping I used a 6 x 6 Doodlebug stack I bought at Heartland Papers.  This is a cute store that has lots of scrapbook papers, and where I bought my board.  I just love this little board!  Thanks Donna!  The picture that has two treat holders by themselves were made with a 6 x 6 paper stack from Me and My Big Ideas I bought at Michaels.

I used the Cardz TV Stamps set called "More Spooky Sayings" for the Creepy, Yikes, and Got Candy?  For the circle Happy Halloween I used the "Going in Circles" stamp set.  The spider web came from a retired Stampin' Up set.  (Thanks Annette!)  I made the little rosettes by hand.

What do you think?  I hope you have a great weekend, and I would really love to hear from you!

Air Head Treat Holder

Hello my crafty friends!  If any of you are on the East Coast, you all are in my prayers.  Please stay safe!  I wish Sandy would just head back out to sea!

I have another treat holder to share with you today.  I just love making treat holders.  My daughter likes Air Heads.  I had to fiddle with the measurements a couple of times, but I finally found this one works.  I've been trying to use up the embellishments I bought this year from K & Co.  The "Creepy!" sentiment came from the Cardz TV stamp set "More Spooky Sayings."  I used a Stampin' Up! border punch on the top, and two smaller SU! punches for the sentiments.  I know the white one is the Word Window punch.  The paper came from a K & Co. paper stack.

I hope you all have a great day, and once again I'm praying for you all that live on the East Coast.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,

Got Candy?

Hello my crafty friends!  It's a very wet and cold day here in Utah.  There is snow in the mountains!  On a day like today, I definitely want to stay in and craft!  The "Fall-o-ween" Challenge is still going on over at Cardz TV.  I hope you've had a chance to enter.

For my next project, I decided to make these cute little matchbook treat holders.  For the ghost treat holder, I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "More Spooky Sayings."  For the treat holder on the left, I used Graphic 45 paper.  For the one on the right I used paper from a K & Co. stack.   The ghost and the pumpkin treat bowl are from two different K & Co. embellishment packs.  You pull the candy above the bowl up to show the Trick Or Treat.  It came with 3 other ones that have something to pull on.  I found them at Michaels on clearance.  I used a Studio G mini punch for the spiders.

Well, that's it for today.  I hope you are having better weather where you are.  Have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!  I will be posting again soon so please check back.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
