Birthday Card - Step Centre Card - Using Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

DT Project for Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #43 - Step Centre Card.

Hi fellow bloggers/crafters/friends.  It has been cold here in Southern CA at night; but nice during the day.  I hope you are having good weather wherever you are; or at least having fun and enjoying your life.

Come join another great week for Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #43 - Step Centre Card.  Our sponsors this week are Paper Makeup Stamps and Sassy Studios.  I hope you take the time to check out the beautiful creations by the DT.  We have some incredible talent.  If you would like to be a Guest Designer, put GDT after your name when you enter. Pick and choose from our Bingo board for items you want to use on your card and then enter it at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.

I chose Paper Makeup Stamps - "Wayne Fairy" and created a birthday card for my grandson.  I had originally planned to give him the scarecrow card I made; but when I started this one - I just knew it belonged to Jayden.

My daughter later told me he loves to play on the bales of hay at my brothers house; which I wasn't aware of until the card was finished.  The little fairy even looks like Jayden.   I added their newest addition to their family - Gizmo.  My daughter sent me a picture and I tried to color Gizmo based on his picture.  He looks much better than my little dog; but I tried.  He is actually a long haired white Pomeranian mix with golden hair color splattered here and there.

I used a tutorial from Desire - Doing Life blog for the buttons.  Go to her blog and scroll down, click on "Older Posts" and then go to April 23, 2012 for the tutorial.

Christmas Cards - Card Three Using Pear and Partridge Card Making Kit

Hi to all my wonderful blogging/crafting friends.  I hope everyone is having a great holiday!!  The weather has cooled down here in Southern CA and we have been having rain.  Don't believe anyone that says "it never rains in Southern CA" because it does.  Although, I lived here for almost a year before we had rain.  I actually missed it.  LOL.  You don't realize how great someone/something is until it is gone.  So true.

I know Christmas is almost over.  Today is Christmas; so I have a couple more hours to post these cards and still not be late.  LOL!!  I finished my last set of Christmas cards last week.  These are from the CTMH Workshop On The Go Pear & Partridge Cardmaking kit.  You might want to purchase one of these card sets and get an early start on your Christmas cards for next year.

My father-in-law passed away in November; so we had a house full of guests.  I wasn't able to create for a couple weeks.  This is the third set of 5 - the kit includes everything to make 15 cards including the card base and envelopes.  This was my first year to make Christmas cards; but I needed more than 15; so a lot of people got store bought cards.  It was hard for me to give store bought cards.

I like to do something a little different with my cards; so they aren't all the same.  I used different ribbons to create a little different look.  I hope you enjoy this last set of Christmas cards.  I didn't want to leave you hanging wondering what the last set looked like.

I made these cards using different ribbons and placing the bling in different areas on the cards.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas.  I was able to see my daughters children through Facetime today.  It was such a joy to share some time with them across the miles and actually see them.  I am so enjoying my new iPhone.  It is the best gift my husband could have gotten me for Christmas.  My two best purchases I have ever made is my Cricut last year for Christmas and my iPhone.

Thanks for stopping by.  Only a few more days in December to get the Stamp of the Month for only $5 with a $50 purchase.  Also, I am offering free shipping for the month of December.

Christmas 3D Card For Bingo With Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Hi to all my fellow crafters/follower/friends.  It has been cold here in Southern California; which I am not use to after being spoiled with such fabulous weather for the 13 years I have been here.  30's feels really cold after you acclimate to 50's and 60's.  My family had ice and snow in MO and their weather is much colder than ours.  My mom will be here January 13th to spend two months with us. I am looking forward to our time together.  We always have a lot of fun and we eat a lot.  LOL.

Christmas is here again!!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.  I hope you have a fabulous time with your family and friends.  Try to enjoy the season and remember the real meaning of Christmas.  Be sure to say thank you to everyone and be cheerful when shopping.  It is a stressful and sad time of year for many; especially those who have lost loved ones so close to the holidays.  My husband and his family lost their father and I lost a sweet man who was my father-in-law. My heart goes out to the people who lost their children and families through that shooting in Connecticut.  I am sure it is a sad time for them.

Come join us for another great week for Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge #42 - Bingo.  Be sure to check out the wonderful creations by the other members of the DT.  Our sponsors this week are Bugaboo Stamps and Doodle Dragons.  Check out their fantastic selection of digital stamps.  I chose "Snowglobe - Ava" from Bugaboo Stamps for another Christmas cards.  I created my first 3D card by using a tutorial from Desire at Doing Life.  This link takes you to her tutorials.  Scroll down to Sept 3 "Maybe" for the 3D tutorial.  Check out all her wonderful creations as well as her tutorials.  For Bingo - I chose Sparkle, Image and Swirls.

If you would like to be a Guest Designer, put GDT after your name when you enter. Pick and choose from our Bingo board for items you want to use on your card and then enter it at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.

Christmas Card Using Eureka Digi Stamps For Tammy's Scrapin Corner

Hi to all my wonderful followers and crafting buddies.  I hope everyone is having a joyful life and enjoying their time with family and friends.  Life is too short and we need to enjoy every minute of it while we can.  I feel so blessed for my family and to share my life with so many wonderful friends.

It is time for Challenge #41 - Anything Goes at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.  Our sponsors this week are Eureka Stamps and Doodle Dragon.  You will want to check out all the wonderful creations by the DT this week.  We look forward to your creations.

I love the scenes created by Eureka Stamps.  I used a "Snowy Church" and "May Your Gifts" sentiment to create my card.  I felt like the scene was perfect just the way it was; so I decided not to color it.  I love all the snow and the gorgeous church, mountains and even the trees in this image.  I felt the sentiment was a great match.  I seem to be in the mood to create Christmas cards right now, even though this challenge is "Anything Goes".  This scene spoke Christmas to me.  Isn't it lovely?
