Richard Lee "Ricky" Skaggs (Cordell, 18 de julho de 1954) é um bandolinista, guitarrista, violinista, banjoísta e cantor norte-americano.

Ricky Skaggs começou a tocar após ganhar um bandolim de seu pai. Aos seis anos tocou bandolim com nada menos do que Bill Monroe. Um ano depois já tocava em shows de TV com Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs. Skaggs mudou-se para Nashville, Tennessee em 1980 indo para a gravadora Epic, onde produziu o álbum Waitin' For The Sun to Shine. Desde então, Skaggs já ganhou uma enorme quantidade de prêmios incluindo 14 prêmios Grammy e 8 prêmios da Country Music Association.

É casado com Sharon White e tem um casal de filhos: Molly Kate e Lucas. Ricky tem também outro casal de filhos de seu primeiro casamento: Andrew e Mandy.
