Poems about Oranges. BMoore. “I told you how I love oranges Not for the flavor, but because they make good muses The pulp is really quite nasty But the way it is built to share, and to share is to love I told you how I love poems with oranges And when the time came And I wouldn’t eat And I couldn’t eat And you peeled an orange And you gave me half How dare you love me in the way I long to be loved” I Love Poems, Poems About Love, You Love Me, To Be Loved, Poem Quotes, Delphinium, Love Languages, Told You, Hopeless Romantic

At lunchtime I bought a huge orange— The size of it made us all laugh. I peeled it and shared it with Robert and Dave— They got quarters and I had a half. And that orange, it made me so happy, As ordinary things often do Just lately. The shopping. A walk in the park. This is peace and contentment. It’s new. The rest of the day was quite easy. I did all the jobs on my list And enjoyed them and had some time over. I love you. I’m glad I exist. — Wendy Cope The Orange By Wendy Cope, Orange Poem, Poem Tattoo, Practice Quotes, Wendy Cope, Time Poem, Do I Love Him, Forehead Kisses, Orange You Glad
