Or painted cabinets vs stained cabinets. Permanent color will give you the heaviest coverage, but it’ll also give you the most dramatic regrowth line. Demi offers less coverage, but a more subtle & graceful growout.   My client here was sick of having to color her regrowth every 4 weeks, but she wasn’t ready to go full-on grey. Our goal was to get her to a level 6 demi base so that she’s able to stretch her regrowth maintenance visits to 6-8 weeks.
