Our Den Doodle ended up being a very positive thing to inspire the boys to wear their uniforms, do Cub Scout requirements at home with their parents, and be excited about Cub Scouting! This is our den doodle. We currently have 9 boys (1 dropped after 1 meeting, so we are lopsided). I have 13 different colored beads for everything from den attendance and uniform wear, to awards earned, camping, popcorn sales, etc. I used cord that is 3 ply nylon? and simply untwist it a little to hang it on the hook (I fused the ends in a flame). That way, beads can be easily added from the top.
