Our new Great Neice

Good evening ,

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas, we have had a very busy time. It was our wedding anniversary on the 22nd December , we have been married 29 years we had a lovely day but the best present was our niece had a baby girl at 1.30 am on that day. She is going to be called Meisha and weighed 6lbs 1oz.

We had a lovely Christmas day at my brother and sil home with their 3 children, then boxing day they came to us along with my brothers 2 older children who now both have babies of their own,so we had a house full,it was a lovely day a little crowded with us all and our next door neighbour and wife joined us. Today we have just had a leisurely tidy up trying to put things away and just generally tidy up .

Snowman Soup

These two are a bit better I think I need some pracice forgotten how to do it....lol.

Birthday card.

OMG three times in an hour .

This is for my friends 60th birthday at the end of December as you can see she will be 60. I think its safe to put it on she doesn't come on very often.

I have stamped FF onto watercolour paper with staz on used polychromos and blended with sansador,used scallop rectangle nestie, addedsome gems, bow, charm and ribbon from stash, greeting from craftwork cards.

Snowman Soup

Sorry the picture is rubbish, I have been making Snowman Soup for my brother ,sister in law and nephew and neices ,my youngest neice has been trying to guess the ingredient for snowman soup...oh how funny she is ,she's 12 and the only thing she is certain will be in it is carrots...bless.I have used mugs that they can use after christmas but 2 of them have snowmen on, well my sil loves christmas so she will love it. The tags and bag toppers are from D.A.I.S.I.E.

Well I can't beleive where time is going, sorry I haven't blogged for so long, I do keep having a quick look around. I have got this lovely award from Wendy, Thankyou.

For my friend

I have made this card for my friend Pammie who is 60 next week. She loves poppies... so I have printed the topper sheet from Joanna Sheen's, Jayne Netley Mayhew CD mounted one of each size onto some red metalic card,added some ribbon and banner.

This is for Magnolia Vs Stampavie challenge, I have used my new Sarah Kay stamp"Spring Blossoms" , stamped with stazon, coloured with polychromos pencils , blended with sansador, used plain and scallop oval nesties, paper is "enchanted" from craftwork card, flowers are prima, brads and gems from stash.

Secret Crafter Challenge

Good Morning , I'm feeling much better this morning I have had the dreaded flu.

I've managed a card for Secret crafter.

I have used a Winter elf stamp from pollycraft, the stamp is called "Devotion",stamped with staz on and coloured with polychromos blended with sansador, dont know where the papers are from, all the other bits from stash.

cupcake challenge

I got up this morning full of cold, sore throat and feeling sorry for myself.. well I wanted to use my new punch but haven,t done it justice but will do better later.... on Tabs cards she has been using a swirly die cut that has really grown on me ,so I cut one on the cricut but you know what its like when you know what you want but it's not going to happen today , well thats the sort of day I've had today.Saw that Cupcake challenge was sweets and treats so here goes, Pink petticoat cupcake download , PM "sweet nothing" papers, nesties labels and stamping bella stones.

Two in one again today Papertake weekly fab sketch by Dawny,and Secret Crafter -Decoupage.
I have used basic grey wassail papers and papermania A wonderful christmas time, Decoupage is moorehead have had it ages but didn't want to use it ,but you just cant keep hoarding ...can you? ribbon is PM stampingbella stones ,chipboard star basic grey, little bow from stash. oh and my signature has come back, was it Elaine...!!!!!

I had to have her she is one of Pollycraft winter fairies,called illumination.
I have used the sketch by
Sketch Saturday, and Dutch dare 3 flowers.
The solid colours are core dinations and the paper is PM Naughty and Nice,I stamped with stazon,coloured with polychromos and blended with sansador,cuttlebug embosing is snowflakes, flowers and banner from stash,stamping bella stones.

A very quick and easy card today, used my new Nestie labels papers and die cuts are
lili of the valley, just added some stamping bella stones and added a bit of glitter pen to bow.

Hope I,m not too late to enter Secret crafter, well never mind I enjoyed making it. The stamp is called "thinking of you"paper is cosmo cricket oh joy ,stamped with stazon coloured with polychromos and copics ,embossed buttons cuttlebug,button from stash,snowflakes punched with ek success punches.

Nearly monocromatic

I have made this card for the penny black challenge dont know if its alright its nearly monochromatic it just had to have a pink bow.The stamp is called snuggle and is stamped with staz-on coloured with polychromos and blended with sansador,I think the brown sparlkly is PM,but not sure as Ive cut the name off as usual, mounted onto 2 shades of brown bazzil, white brads from stash, it is based on a sketch by Dawny P, thanks Dawn.

cuttlebug make and take

This is one of the cards made at the Cuttlebug make and take evening ,this is a card made using an idea seen on splitcoast stampers the tutorial can be seen here. We made 2 cards on the evening but guess what only took a photo of one, the other was using the swiss dots border and a cuttlekids alphabet set ,it spelt jolly amd had a little stocking hanging from 2nd l it was cute will try and remember to take a photo when I'm at work.
