Music Saves My Soul -

Yes its Saturday again, and Marcea has kicked it off again with some great songs.

This Saturday I want to share a song I love!

It reminds me of the first few months with Stephen (who I've been with now for over 8 years and currently planning our wedding for next June!)

Its Five For Fighting and I just love the singer and the band (the guys who make the music) as its really only John you see (the singer)...

Lily of the Valley Cricketer - First time Inked!

I've had this stamp for a while, and just never had the chance to ink him up until now! 

Look at that face full of concentration!

For my card I have used Bearly Mine Designs - Printable Papers from the 'For the Boys' set which can be found and bought here! 

I've used my Star Nesties to cut out a few stars, sentiment is computer generated. 

The image was coloured with Copics.

Snowboarding Birthday card - Say what now!

I was asked to make a Birthday card for a skier/snowboarder. This had me thinking for a while as to how to go about it and make a card not so Christmassy with a skier/snowboarder on it!

I did a Google search for an image and first started with Honey from All That Scraps, well I printed her too small when it came to putting her on the card, so I gave up with her and Google'd again, and Toby from The Greetings Farm came up. So off I toddled to TGF Central, bought him and downloaded him. 

He looks not so very masculine in his purples, and hopefully will pass as a lady snowboarder lol

I've used Basic Grey Papers - Eskimo Kisses. Flowers from WOC, Sentiment stamp from Whimsy as is the die used to cut out the tickets.

I'm entering this card into two challenges

The first being  Create 4 Fun - which is a great sketch and the second is Stamp Something which this week is DIGI week!

Exciting news!!

Good afternoon crafting buddies...

I have some exciting news to share. 

A little while ago, Donna did a Design Team call out for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge blog. The day befoer yesterday I recieved an email inviting me to be on the team. How cool is that. I'm so excited. I've been bouncing ever since I found out but was sworn to secrecy until today!!

My term starts 1st July and I can not wait.
