The famous blue Hope Diamond has been made-over. The stunning 45.52 carat diamond, known for its rich history and incomparably deep-blue quality, has been set in a new platinum necklace designed by Harry Winston Inc. The diamond will be on display for a limited time before it returns to its original setting. The Smithsonian Channel added reassuringly that “Since the Hope’s arrival at the Smithsonian, the curse appears to have gone dormant.”
