Hi everyone I'm back after a long absence! I've taken the plunge and started my You Tube channel! It's been a huge thing for me being a shy person but I've done it and am quite enjoying it. I finished this order a few weeks ago. I made 10 A5 notebook covers using a mix of fabrics many of which are vintage or antique Italian hemp/linen. I embellished with antique trims and vintage doilies along with buttons and charms. Not only did the teachers receive cushions we also decided to make an album for each one. I also made an album for the teacher in the other class so there were 4. I cover them using a mix of old and new fabrics. Inside another mummy painted some watercolour cards for each class. They were painted by Cathy Trolli. A few weeks ago I posted about a gorgeous fabric Christmas book I made. It has several pockets with some handmade ephemera in each. I made a tutorial for the tri fold envelope placed in the third pocket. It's super fun and not hard to make. A great addition to any book or journal. These are a few pillows I made this year. Incredibly slow at blogging things I know! I have been making just not sharing! I need to do better at that! This pillow has been made with vintage embroidered linen, toile, cotton and antique handwoven hemp and a lovely doily applique. This pillow was a custom order.
