Glacier crevasse

Glaciers consists of deep crevasses which makes it difficult and dangerous to navigate as these crevasses are not always visible. These crevasses sometime form attractive patterns from the combination of different colors: white, blue black (due to the black sand of iceland).

Glacier texture inspiration During the ascent of the Beerenberg Volcano, we crossed the formidable Kronprins Olavs Bre and encountered a striking sight. A deep crevasse slicing through the glacier. This rift, captured in the second photo, became the wellspring of inspiration for the dial of our Glacial Rift Limited Edition.
