After I was done, I took the opportunity to jalan-jalan and look-see-look-see since I was there.
I saw these cute pillow but at that price, I decided not to buy. But I did buy other things because there is no such thing as walking in to Daiso without buying anything hah...hah...
After Daiso, I went up to the supermarket. Ah! Oranges are out already. I sent this photo to my partner because he is the one always excited about oranges hah...hah...
And of course there were loads of ngaku and the thought of peeling, slicing and frying these made me feel tired.
House of Pok is still around. Good! But no, I did not stop at any eatery because I had these waiting for me at home.
Then that evening I stayed up until past midnight to binge watch Squid Game 2. I thought I wasn't hungry but heh...heh... I had to air fry two pieces of chicken chop. Alamak, I forgot to snap photo. But it's not anything you haven't seen before.
Wow very beautiful and pretty Christmas decorations. I like those glittering Christmas trees and the castle. Me and many of my girlfriends are fans of Daiso. Oh claypot coffee, very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI was very sad when the Daiso at the mall near my office decided to shut down :(
Delete1utama looks like SG Suntec City shopping mall.
ReplyDeleteOh really? I have never been to SG Suntec City mall. I remembered the last big one I visited a long, long time ago was Ngee Ann City.
DeleteWhat did you buy from Daiso?
ReplyDeleteI bought sponges, a bathroom rug and a pack of drainage deodorizer.
DeleteU mean you air fried two pieces of chicken chop after midnight?
ReplyDeleteNo, not so late hah..hah... Around 7:00pm.
DeleteThank you for the 1u Xmas photos. Looks nice ππ
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I got to see the decorations before they are taken down.
DeletePerhaps you're at Starling too often, so the decor looks "old" to you but at IU they look fresh since you don't go there often. Hmmm, let me guess, you must have bought some kitchen-related stuff from Daiso...lol! :D
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, I bought two kitchen related stuff - sponges and a drainage deodorizer. And one bathroom rug.
DeleteWhat is this OneCard? Is it a credit card?
ReplyDeleteIt is a loyalty card for the mall One Utama. It is also a parking card. We can also collect points when dining or buying merchandise from restaurants/shops at the mall that participate in this loyalty program.
DeleteThe last day of 2024 which is 31st December is chor yat. That day I will have vegetarian pork trotters rice. I had tried it before, it was tasty, appetising and very hoi wai. Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteWah got such thing as vegetarian pork trotters! Yes, I find vegetarian food very palatable and delicious. I am amazed that some of the products have almost the same texture as real meat.
DeleteHi, just read an online article about the health benefits of owning a cat. Thought you might be interested to know. Just sharing part of the article.
ReplyDeleteInteracting with cats has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and anxiety. The simple act of petting a cat can increase levels of serotonin and dopamine in the brain, which help improve mood and reduce stress. Cats offer emotional support and companionship that can significantly enhance mental health. They provide a sense of purpose and responsibility, which is particularly beneficial for individuals struggling with depression or loneliness. A cat’s company can improve one’s emotional well-being.
Thanks for sharing! Oh, I agree with this article. My cats do give me a lot of joy - my cat therapy so to speak. When I carry them, I feel a lot of comfort and love. Although sometimes when they are not in the mood, they try to scratch me. LOL!
DeleteI only managed to check out Midvalley's Christmas decoration this year. :P Wow, didn't know Fong Lye is in 1U now, have to check it out if the crowd is not as horrendous.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are familiar with Fong Lye. I never heard of it until that day. LOL!
