Strongly support this. I just had a vandal create attack pages directed at me in my Userspace, I was very surprised that I received no notification of this.

Also if you click on "history" and then on "older 50" you only get a handful of revisions, apparently chosen at random.

Is there any update as to when this will be fixed?

Were people really logged out at 7:43 UTC? Judging from comments on en-wiki the log out was from 21:43 UTC

How is this "resolved"? We just accept the bot adding incorrect links and hope random editors will go through thousands of edits to spot them?

@Aklapper I'm sorry I had missed that page telling me how to use this website on another website.

Qgil, Katherine said "the Community Relations team: they pay attention to conversations here, on Jimmy’s talk page, on Meta, at the Village Pump and their equivalents in other languages, and other spaces where community members gather and discuss.
They brief me weekly on what’s going on, and highlight when there’s something I should be engaging with directly" - that's very different to your description above of a very tight selection including non-public material. Perhaps the two of you could get together to get your stories straight.

Next time try starting with "Sorry you had this problem, here are some suggestions in case it happens again", that way the person you are talking to might get the feeling that you are trying to help.
Anomie, well how was I meant to know that? Did anyone tell me? Have I ever, in twelve years of using Wikipedia ever come across that?
Anomie, is it possible to request a password reset when logged in? I've only ever seen it offered when trying to log in and I've mis-typed or forgotten my password.
It also tells the user "you are globally blocked" and not "the IP you are using is globally blocked". There is a significant difference.
Anomie. 1) I didn't want to log out from my phone - it is the same IP as my desktop and I didn't want to risk being locked out from there too.
I had this problem yesterday on en-wiki. If I hadn't also been logged in on my phone I would have had no way to ask for help. THe message when i was trying to reset my password was profoundly unhelpful. See this post on MediaWiki and my talk page on en-wiki
