Wiki is live

@Dcljr why removing random stuff from the task description?

Not random, just not needed anymore, since the wiki has been created. Some of the resolved "Create" tasks still had the "wiki is ready to be created" or even the "creation is blocked until" message still on them, as well as unchecked boxes, etc., even though the steps had been completed. As part of making the completed tasks look completed, I elected to remove the "step by step commands" along with the "wiki is ready to be created" or "creation is blocked" message. Is this a problem? The steps are automatically appended to every new "Create" task, anyway.

@Zabe, would you like me to restore the "Step by step commands" to all the tasks I've removed them from?

(BTW, just for the record, 8 of the 19 wikis created in the last year have had their "Create" tasks closed while the checklist was incomplete and/or the description still contained the warning "The creation is blocked until these part are all done". This is… suboptimal.)

No, I don't expect you to re-add the stuff.

My point was mainly that there is no need at all to remove stuff, even if it is no longer actively needed, if the task has been closed. It is just a waste of time for you; and useless notifications for everyone else.

Also I would say that no one cares about whether the task description still contains the warning "The creation is blocked until these part are all done". The number of folks creating wikis are countable by one hand and know that if that is still present in an already closed task, it has no relevant meaning.

I removed the warnings and completed the checklists as I was going through the past "Create" and "Post-creation" tasks checking what had and hadn't been done, both for my own benefit and that of future readers. (IOW, I was "wasting time" already.) Obviously, those "in the know" don't care if things are left (visibly) half-finished on the tasks (which is why it keeps happening), but other people looking at them may be confused as to whether certain things were or were not done, or were or were not necessary. Yes, the extra "noise" is regrettable, but I still say it's Bad Practice to leave completed tasks looking incomplete.

(Fair warning, I'm about to do this again twice more in cases where I didn't do it originally. Then I'll be finished.)

Just pointing out for the benefit of other readers that this is being dealt with at T370918.
