The Chinese Wikinews is qualified to be displayed around the central circle on the Wikinews.org portal since it has more page views (current assessment method) compared to the it.wikinews.org which is on the portal.
It's missing from the central circle because the slogan translation for it was missing (deleted).
The current logic is too fragile, the site should at least appear even without the slogan translated.

Original description
Chinese Wikinews, being one of the few active languages, should be more easily accessible on Multilingual portal instead of having less active languages displayed. Based on the total number of active users, Chinese Wikinews ranks as the fifth-largest Wikinews project. This website needs an update because no matter how you rank it, Chinese is still one of the top ten languages.

Regarding the current situation where Chinese Wikinews is not displayed in Google search results, it is worth considering including Chinese among the major languages. It is inconvenient to search for Wikinews in English and then open the Chinese version. Since opening Chinese Wikinews is often done through this method, accessing the portal, especially on iOS where the search bar directly suggests the portal before being able to open Chinese Wikinews, it is inconvenient as Chinese Wikinews is not displayed among the major languages. This poses difficulties in accessing Chinese Wikinews.
Because I found that this design actually exists, but I don’t know why it is not in this state now. This design seems to be very good-looking.
