Sending Sunny Thoughts {MFTWSC128}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 128.

This is yet another fabulously versatile sketch that I'm pretty sure I'll be referring back to again. I inked up the new You're So Special To Me stamp set, since I didn't have a chance to use her during MFT teasers.

I started with a card base of Whip Cream then added a layer of Blu Raspberry. I built everything on the Pink Lemonade layer. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Memorable collection and I adore the girlie colours. This is another card that I'm sending off to Maddy, to make her smile. Read all the details about the card drive for Maddy HERE, and I hope you'll send a card (or two or three).

I stamped the adorable girl with Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-Press It Blending Card then coloured her with copic markers. I fussy cut around her because I knew I wanted to adhere her onto patterned paper, which I ran through my swiss dots embossing folder. I popped her up on Jody Boosters for a little dimension.

The space to the right of her was calling out for a flower so I reached for my favourite blooms, Pretty Posies Die-namics. I cut the flower from Cotton Candy felt and backed it with a layer of Pink Lemonade, both for stability and so I could curl the petals a little. I added a Whip Cream Button tied with Hemp Cord and tucked a strip of Cotton Candy grosgrain ribbon across the card. For the tab element along the bottom of the image panel I used the Small Scallop Border Die-namics to cut out some Blu Raspberry then trimmed it down to size.

On the inside I stamped the girl again from You're So Special To Me, with Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink, then added a sentiment from Doodle Garden Aloha with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Inspire {MFTWSC127}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 127.

I'm quite a fan of this week's sketch...it has circles after all! But not just circles, one of them is tucked beneath another layer...love! Why don't I ever think to do that on my own?!?

I started with a Whip Cream card base then added a layer of Steel Grey. The pretty patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Sky's the Limit collection. I ran the Kraft strip through my swiss dots embossing folder then inked all around the edges before stitching the layers together. I used the Open Scallop Circle Doily Die-namics to cut out the Blu Raspberry circle.

I chose a lined patterned paper for the sentiment circle, which I cut out using the Circle 1 STAX Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from My Favorite Sentiments using Kraft Premium Dye Ink.

For the flower element I chose the Upsy Daisy Die-namics to cut out the Steel Grey flower and topped it with a Blu Raspberry button tied with Hemp Cord.

On the inside I stamped another sentiment from My Favorite Sentiments using Blu Raspberry Premium Dye Ink.

I'm sending this card to Maddy. Have you heard about the card campaign for Maddy? She's a real inspiration. Read all the details HERE.
