sharing some quick cards

Hello again!

Today I have a few quick cards that I created in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day.

These were all created using the February Daily Diary kit from Noel Mignon, So Sweet.

Each of these cards were created using pocket page cards, which makes for a quick and easy project. I simply added some little diecuts, flowers, tape and ribbon to finish the cards. They're all ready to go for Valentine's Day!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Valentine Cards for Noel Mignon

Hi again!

Today I have a set of Valentine cards that I made using the February kit from Noel Mignon.

I used cardstock and patterned paper from the kit along with silver ribbon, stickers and brads and some round doilies from my scrap supply.

I cut out the little cards from one of the sheets of patterned paper in the kit and layered them on the card fronts along with stickers and other fun embellishments.

Do you make homemade cards for your loved ones or do you just buy them from the store?

Thanks for stopping by.

quick cards for Christmas

Today I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made for my Pebbles Inc guest designer post:

These cards were made quick & easy by using premade embellishments like the cardstock shapes and 4x3 cards. I added a paper doily and some twine, some gold glitter glue accents and that was it!

With as busy as things are this time of year quick and easy is essential for me.

Have a great weekend!

Just a quick post again today as I try to get my kids dressed, fed and out the door.

Everything is winding down now and the kids are feeling it.

There isn't a hurry bone in their little bodies.

It drives me crazy in the mornings but what can you do?

How do you stay sane and organized and on time in the mornings?

Today I am sharing a card that I created as a cover option for the new CardMaps 4 magazine that I created using the Fresh Cut line from BasicGrey:

Today is kindergarten graduation; it's hard to believe that our third is moving on.

a quick hello and a Garden Party card

Good morning!

I have a quick card to share with you using the pretty Garden Party collection from Pebbles Inc.

This is a fun, quick card. I simply rounded the corners on a couple of pieces of patterned paper, added the butterfly to a pre-made journaling card along with some Queen & Company Jellies and staple accents.

Have a great day!

how about a sunshine card?

Good morning!

It is Good Friday and for the first time I can remember my kids are off of school today.

We usually have to use this day as a snow day make-up and since we didn't get hardly any snow this Winter we get to have the day off.

If only Moms really got days off, right?

I love my kids and we have some fun things planned for this Easter weekend.

Today I will share a quick card using a Silhouette cut file and some paper and embellishments from Queen and Company:

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

another quick card for today

Good morning!

I have one more quick card to share with you today.

I created this using the Garden Party collection from Pebbles Inc.

I love the idea of being able to create something quickly because it seems that there is just never enough time to really sit down and create for as long as I would like. I am hoping to find some time this weekend.

What do you do when you only have a few minutes to work on a project?

Do you have any tips for working more efficiently?

I'd love to hear them.

I'm back! Quick and easy cards

We got our computer fixed and thankfully it was what we thought, and it was relatively easy to fix.

So, I'm back!!

I wanted to share some quick and easy cards this week so I have a couple of them to share with you today using the Garden Party collection from Pebbles Inc.

All I needed for these cards was the Garden Party cardmaker pad, cardstock shapes, foam adhesive, cardstock and some twine and enamel dots. Each was made in about 5 minutes, which is great when you need a card at the last minute.

Come back tomorrow for some more ideas.

Spring is coming!

I am so glad that the weather is starting to warm up and that signs of Spring are popping up.

We have a few blossoms on our trees, it isn't frigid outside and the grass is starting to green up again.

Not that I don't like the cold, but this winter we have had SO much cold and not much snow to make the cold worth it so I am ready for the weather to just go ahead and warm up.

Nothing gets me in the mood for Spring like flowers and butterflies and the new Garden Party collection from Pebbles Inc. is so bright and colorful and great for Spring projects.

Have a great day!

Lifestyle Crafts Heart punches and a giveaway

I must have Valentine's Day cards on the brain or something!

I sure have created a lot of them for assignments lately.

For my Lifestyle Crafts February post I decided to create a couple of cards as well using the heart punches.

I really like the LC punches because they allow you to cut out so many shapes very quickly.

For these cards I used:

Lifestyle Crafts heart punches
Lifestyle Crafts Pocket Scrap Starter dies
We R Memory Keepers Inked Rose 6x6 pad
We R Memory Keepers red washi tape
We R Memory Keepers Gold Metallic Chevron Washi Tape
Sticky Thumb adhesive

I wanted to make a card base with rounded edges so I started off by using the largest of the rounded corner dies in the Pocket Scrap Starter Dies kit, using washi tape to hold the die exactly where I wanted it on my paper.

I then cut hearts with the small heart punch and Inked Rose 6x6 paper pad

For this card I added strips of the Gold Metallic Chevron washi tape and layered hearts on top with foam adhesive

I added a shorter piece of white cardstock to the already-cut gray base and then cut thin strips of patterned paper, then trimmed the edges and added them to the bottom of my card. I added a few staples, a couple of hearts and a stamped sentiment (Amy Tangerine roller stamp from American Crafts).

Have you ever tried the Lifestyle Crafts shape punches?

How would you like to win a set?

Take a look at the punches available here and I will choose one winner to receive the punch set of your choice. Leave a comment with the name of the punch set you would like to win and make sure that you leave a way for me to contact you in case you are the winner.

If you share this post via Instagram or Facebook leave another comment and I will give you an additional chance to win the punches.

I will choose a winner on Sunday, February 16th.

more Valentine's Cards

This is a quick post this morning so that I can go wake up the kids for school but I wanted to share a few more cards with you today in preparation for Valentine's Day this week:

These were all super quick to make using the Yours Truly collection (papers, envelopes, stickers, tags and Pebbles Basics twine).

Do you create handmade Valentines for your loved ones or do you go with store-bought?
