Chai Wah Wu received the B.S. and B. A. degrees in Computer Engineering and Cognitive Science from Lehigh University, and the M. A. degree in Mathematics and M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is currently manager of the intelligent energy management group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York. His research interests include digital halftoning, synchronization of chaos, image watermarking, nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, graph theory and multimedia security. He has published over 200 papers and is the inventor of 57 patents. Dr. Wu was elected Fellow of the IEEE in 2001.
