I started with letters in her name but you could use any letters. Pick a movement and have them copy the movement and say each letter as they hit it. You could have them say letter sound for more advanced learners.

Sharyn Kish on Instagram: "Here are a few ways to use those mini fly swatters… 1. Teacher (or family member) says a word. Students “swat” the beginning sound heard in the word dictated. (Great phoneme to grapheme practice) The first one to slap it gets to grab it from the table. Play until there are no more cards. 2. Play the same way but students listen for the middle vowel sound. **You can change up the game to listen for ending sounds in the words dictated. 3. Sound Circle. Lay out letter cards on the table (or use post-it notes). Students use a whisper phone and “fun” pointer to walk around the table and “whisper” read the letter and sound for each card. This is my favorite interactive activity when I'm teaching my
preschoolers the letter B. So we have our bat and our ball
and every student is going to get a chance after we've
learned the letter. They're going to get the bat and I'm
going to toss them the ball. Before I toss it they have to
say B says and I toss it. B says B says here's my letter
wall. So first we're going to talk about how the capital
letter B is made. It's made with one big line and two

Using just Elmer's glue and letter printouts, I show you how to make each letter interactive and sensory-friendly. As preschoolers trace their fingers over the raised glue dots, they simultaneously learn phonics by vocalizing the sounds—like "F says f." This multi-sensory approach enhances letter recognition and phonetic understanding, making it an excellent tool for early literacy. Grab the printouts from my website, preschoolvibes.com, and enhance your teaching toolkit with these engaging cards. | Preschool Vibes Preschool Vibes, Letter Sounds Preschool, Learn Phonics, Speed Writing, Letter Sound Recognition, Preschool Language, Pediatric Occupational Therapy, Multi Sensory, Sensory Tools

Sharyn Kish on Instagram: "Here is a quick and low prep way to do a phoneme ➡️ grapheme check during your skill groups. I also used the letter cards for lower case recognition with a different group. I used index cards but you can use card stock, too. Tomorrow I will repeat this but have my students write the letters/sounds on their white boards during #intervention and #enrichment time.
