Within the past fifty years, information and communication technologies (ICT) have radically altered the dynamics of doing business in modern societies. However, a lack of access to these ICT resources has stifled the participation of several developing and under-developed economies. Cloud computing, an emerging technology paradigm, has the potential to unleash new businesses and create markets in underdeveloped societies through its promise of pervasive access, usage simplification, and negligible adoption costs. In this paper, we juxtapose new global commerce opportunities unveiled by cloud computing capabilities with the characteristics of demand in these challenging but rapidly globalizing markets. By tracing the characteristics of historic paradigm shifts and technological revolutions that have transformed societies in more developed economies, we examine how cloud computing can a) create new IT-enabled market constructs, b) change managerial imperatives, incentive structures and processes, and c) pose challenges to business transformation that may, in turn, affect its rate of adoption.

The objective of the paper is to propose a
predictable context sensitive trust model for a business system.
A business system can be imagined with four basic entities
between which there is a mutual trust of different nature exists.
A formal model, which encompasses the trust between the
stack-holders is proposed where the context sensitive features
of the multi variate trust issues are addressed. The impact
of both the legal environment and the interoperability factors
on various entities involved in the trust issues are focused in
the work. The key dimensions of the trust i.e. integrity and
loyalty are determined through acceptable uncertainties of
various components in the proposed model the proposed context
sensitive trust model for business systems. The model which
represents the various trusts in a context sensitive business
system is verified using a numerical simulation tool and the
inferences are drawn with a scenario

Business analytics is becoming a significantly important component in businesses' toolsets for competiveness and growth. In this paper, we provide an overview of the evolution of analytics as a discipline, and describe specific applications that can be envisaged in the context of a mobile commerce environment. We then develop a preliminary conceptual model in the mobile analytics space.

In their quest for data-driven insight, firms align
their resources to produce information that is actionable.
Moreover, the bundling and utilization of these valuable
resources is what defines an organizational capability. Thus, in
this paper we conceptualize a new type of capability – data
analytics capabilities, DAC, as the ability to assemble,
coordinate, mobilize, and deploy analytics-based resources with
strategic purpose.
Using text as data, we explore the use of probabilistic topic
modeling on historical press releases, in an attempt to identify
types of DAC from successful data analytics investments. Press
and news releases frequently articulate a firm’s resource
allocation strategy, proving an opportunity to automatically
classify these into topics that can suggest categorization of DAC.
We explore 8-year historical press releases and apply Latent
Dirichlet Allocation topic modeling to 273 press releases.

– In this paper, we looked at 10 years of news articles as a way to decode strategic intent. Using advanced text mining techniques, we evaluated at a cluster of 5 strategic dimensions as proxies of strategic intent-a focus on creating new capabilities to exploit future opportunities. This methodology. With this methodology we argue that strategic intent can we inferred from the historical reporting in print and online news, which may help guide attain a fit between internal resources and capabilities and external opportunities and threats. The text mining methodology introduced uses probabilistic topics models to automatically detect hidden themes from historical news articles. The paper also features a sematic correlation methodology to categorize themes in organization's strategic intent. Our analysis was able to automatically generate strategic intent depicting capabilities building for infrastructure and mobile platforms, data, and social media applications.

Aspheric lenses are becoming more and more important in some high-precision optical systems. And, like other optical lenses, the surface must meet the same quality standards in terms of surface shape accuracy and surface roughness. In this paper, are aspheric less studied deeply from the theory of surface characteristics, the calculation method of surface features of aspheric lenses, aspheric lenses surface characteristics, and calculation formula are given, and the characteristics of surface fitting error of aspheric lenses are analyzed. Taking K9 glass aspheric optical lens, for example, the surface characteristic function is discussed in detail. The results show that the surface characteristic function of aspheric lenses has higher precision, and its fitting error is better than + 30nm Keyword: aspheric surface, surface characteristic, fitting error As an important optical element, aspheric lenses occupies an important position in the optical system. In terms of the methodology used in this project, we will determine the impact of the power of formal comparisons between groups, which are based on the final measurement when the intermediate measures are included in the analysis via a linear mixed model, which has been included as a module in ST6034.

This impact of power has been assessed for the various intermediate measurements. Suppose the assumptions of independence are violated. In that case, we will have the model containing observations from each of the groups, and It would be reasonable to assume freedom within each of these subjects. However, this model can be developed further, and when fitted, adjustments are made to account for the lack of independence. The methodology is known as Repeated Measures ANOVA. Even with these adjustments made to the subjects, these Repeated Measures ANOVA models don’t impose compound symmetry on the correlation within these subjects.

We will know the relationship and the different factors that affect power. We will also be understanding the interrelationship between the statistical significance, power, and effect size. We will look at the values which determine the power with relation to the other variables. We will look at the mean and standard deviation of the sample size with the other variables known. The learning process with the hypothesis, sample subjects, the sample distributions, the calculation of the hypothesis tests, the confidence intervals, and the effect size determine the power. We will also establish relationships with the relational studies with the statistics to analyze the data with the correlational model or the experimental designs.
