This is Swedish cake also known as Kladdkaka 😃 It’s so easy to make with just a few simple ingredients and it tastes absolutely amazing! 🙌

It has crisp edges and top, with a super indulgent, gooey, chocolatey middle 🤤

All you need is:

145g salted butter, melted (you can also use unsalted butter with 1/2 tsp salt)
360g granulated sugar (or caster sugar)
120g plain flour
60g cocoa powder
3 large eggs, lightly beaten, room temp

Tin size: 7” springform pan (greased)

Bake 180C /(160C fan) 30-35 mins - the top should be crisp and set, and the centre should still gooey. Allow to cool fully in the tin 🥰

Store in the fridge and reheat if desired for a gooey dessert ❤️

Can you believe it’s day 99! I am going to make a bold statement. I think this Moelleux au Chocolat might just be one of the best chocolate cakes of all time. There, I have said it. The best way to describe it is like a giant melt in the middle chocolate cake. Although I rather like the fancy French name! It is rich, gooey, decadent and delicious. Especially served warm from the oven. What’s more, if you pop the leftovers in the fridge, the base transforms into a fudgy brownie while the top sets into a heavenly dark chocolate mousse.
