Interwiki

Beste collega's,
Is er een manier om robots te verhinderen steeds dezelfde foute interwikilink aan te maken op een artikel? Of moet ik op alle andere wiki's gewoon de foute interwikilink weghalen en hopen dat niemand die foute interwiki nog een keer aanmaakt?
Zie bijvoorbeeld Amok, alwaar de ru:-interwiki niet het begrip amok betreft maar de titel van een album van een band. Ik had hem al verwijderd maar nu maakt een andere robot de link weer aan. Bij voorbaat dank, Martijn ^→!?← 22 okt 2008 21:42 (CEST)

hetzelfde gebeurd bij het artikel zomerkamp waar al drie keer de foute interwikies zijn weggehaald --Druifkes 26 okt 2008 13:13 (CET)

Worden ze alleen hier weggehaald, of ook op de anderstalige Wikipedia's? Want in het eerste geval zal de bot steeds terug blijven komen. Je dient daarom op de anderstalige Wikipedia's ook de nl-interwiki weg te halen. PiotrKapretski 26 okt 2008 13:23 (CET)

Nearly 20000 errors in nlwiki

Hello, my small project Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Check Wikipedia found 19761 errors in 17565 articles in your wikipedia. I hope the user in nl can fix this. But maybe the English at the project-site is a problem. My script generate for all languages an English output. Only if the translation page (in nl: Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Check Wikipedia/Vertaling) has information, then my script can make a translation of the output in your languages. Almost as many errors can be found in your message! I understand you are looking for HTML-syntax errors and at superfluous usage of HTML-code. It would be better if you were a little more specific about what you are trying to do. Your use of the word "error" sounds like a gross overstatement. This project is aiming to create an encyclopedia, and someting is only a real error if it presents wrong information. And yes there are plenty of errors, but a bot will not find them. - Brya 25 okt 2008 08:14 (CEST)

Ik heb het nodige gefixed. Ben benieuwd of de volgende update minder errors bevat. Als ik het goed begrijp is slechts 3,6% van de artikelen hier gescanned. We hebben dus nog even te gaan voordat alle artikelen technisch foutvrij zijn. Rudolphous 25 okt 2008 17:35 (CEST)

Nouja, ik vraag me af hoeveel er van die lijst goed is. Jägerrücken mist volgens de output een referentietag, maar als ik de geschiedenis van de pagina bekijk is die maar één keer bewerkt en staat er al lang een referentiesjabloon onder. Het is dus maar de vraag of alle fouten wel van toepassing zijn, zoals ze nu worden gegenereerd. Tubantia disputatum meum 25 okt 2008 19:14 (CEST)

De maker zegt zelf dat er nog een aantal fouten in zijn tool zitten waardoor er soms false alarms gegenereerd worden. Het meerendeel van wat hij meldt klopt echter wel. Rudolphous 25 okt 2008 19:27 (CEST)

@Multichill: For the translation: show at de, fr, ru. Every wikipedian can do this, but he should know the language. It is realy easy. There is for every error the english description (for example: error_003_head_script= ... and error_003_desc_script=....) there stand what the skript write if no other information is available. If you translate the english text then write the translation under error_003_head_nlwiki= ... and error_003_desc_nlwiki=.... and finish the translation with END. @Rudolphous: the toolserver has a duplicate of wikipedia's database that is (almost) always up to date. Hence, the queries that are ran there, should be considered as native queries. Annabel 25 okt 2008 20:28 (CEST)

It did sound very rude what you presented here. But a quick check confirmed the sense of it. AND it showed how it could be fixed. So it is a good project after all! Keep up the good work! I use the dump from 2008-06-09 and check there all errors. With this list of articles I scan the live wikipedia and show is this article fixed or not. And then the script scan also the new articles every day. So the data are really fresh. :-) - @Eddi: "20000 errors" is "en:Psychological warfare" ;-) -- sk 25 okt 2008 21:56 (CEST)

Always up-to-date details for every municipality in Finland

Hi project, I just wanted to let you know we have launched a project called FMPortal in the Finnish Wikipedia.

The purpose of the project is to provide up-to-date statistical data about Finnish municipalities. We have set up a centralized portal for this project in the toolserver. If you would like to utilize one or more of these templates, please fill out the localization details and adopt the Wikipedia page. After localization any bots, which can read details over the HTTP protocol are able to update the template details as follows:

1. Population count: updated once per month from Population Register Center of Finland
2. Acreage details: updated once per year from Land Survey of Finland
3. Tax rate details: updated once per year from Tax Administration of Finland
4. Demographic information: updated once per year from Population Register Center of Finland

A total of 12 different templates provide almost all of the important information about Finnish municipalities and are easy to adopt. The core templates can provide the date when a source was updated and a reference link for this. You can localize the reference links to use your wiki's format and every date is provided in the ISO 8601 format, supporting fully {{#time}}. The actual values output have no thousand separators and use the dot as decimal separator, so the values can be localized with {{#formatnum}}.

I saw you already translated municipalities, great. Can you please also define template names used in nlwiki in order to activate language? After this nlwiki appear under FMPortal frontpage drop down and templates can be fetch from user interface also (at this moment only direct links work). --Agony 26 okt 2008 12:14 (CET)
