Logo, Branding, Strategy, Squarespace Website Design Meraki is a new restaurant, bar, and event space concept by San Diego’s favorite Italian restaurant group, Buona Forchetta. The branding and strategy goal was to position Meraki as a neighborhood hot spot as well as an upscale wedding venue. Leaning in to the Greek meaning of Meraki, “to put passion and love into everything,” the logo expresses joy, celebration, hospitality, and love.

I am thrilled to announce that Zalta Mediterranean has opened its doors and I got to do all of the branding! This delicious Sausalito Restaurant was a joy to work on. The team was designing the interior at the same time as I was developing the logo so we were essentially discovering the aesthetic together. I love collaboration, so this was awesome. The inspiration came from the tiles that were used for the interior! So go check out the elevated casual vibe and the sign that I designed!
