All the supplies are from the Dollar Tree I used 4 foam rings, 3 bamboo wreaths, and one dog bowl 1: Use alcohol to clean the print from the dog bowl And paint it black 2: paint your foam rings with white latex paint ( 2 coats) 3: spray paint your bamboo wreaths black. I used rust-oleum matte black 4: Now attach all your pieces together, I cut the center from my bowl, that way I could use that area for the top or the base. I hope you love this DIY project. Laura on Instagram: "SPRAY IT! If I like it, it’s metal and it’s just the wrong colour then I always spray it! Frames, candlesticks, chair legs… they’ve all been done! But I’ve never been trolled more for any other project! 🫣 If you want to try it, I recommend you… 1. clean it (like proper clean it) 2. sand it (enough to give it a better surface to adhere to) 3. prime it (skip this step at your peril!) 4. paint it (multiple light coats are better than one thick one- patience is needed!) 5. seal it (optional top coat but definitely recommended for the high impact areas like taps and handles) . Brands I love! @rustoleum Universal Matt black spray @plastikoteuk metal primer and their Matt gold spray @rustoleum clear sealant spray I used to also love the @lovewilko metal spray too.
