I got scrap cotton material from the op shop, Freezer paper (which is like baking paper but has a coated side to temporarily keep fabric in place) white vinegar, sharp scissors and a hot iron.

Step 1 : I traced around an A4 piece of paper onto my fabric, then cut the freezer paper to the exact same size making sure it was precise. 

Step 2: I then ironed the freezer paper to the fabric making sure the coated side was facing down (I said wax because that’s my interpretation of that side, it’s not actually wax). I gave it a good press to secure the corners. 

Step 3: I tested my design on paper first, making sure it was all in size. Then inserted the freezer/material sandwich in the printer.
