When I really want something but don’t like the price tag, I generally figure out a way to make it myself. I wanted a new footstool to go with my lovely new sofa, but one like this in bespoke fabric would have cost me over £500. Hmmm not so keen on that! Then it dawned on me that the lid of our old pouffe could be used to create exactly what I wanted! In my case I used a pouffe lid, but this can also be achieved by simply placing a thick piece of foam on wood/MDF. Make sure your base is deep enough for your leg screws, and it’ll be fine! I tried two different feet attachments - the first set were wobbly but the second set, from @amazonuk, make the feet solid as a rock.
