rachel 🦙 on Instagram: "talking you through my quick curly routine 🫶🏻 I did a wash now style later where I washed my hair the night before and styled it the next day and usually the next day I take my time rewetting my hair but sometimes if I’m really in a rush I just dunk my head under the faucet 😅 I did this last year as a refresh method and eventually moved onto doing this with styling routines and personally, it works well! I definitely don’t recommend this if you do have back pain because my back was hurting a bit towards the end but I had to stand up and adjust myself to make sure I’m in a neutral position and that my back isn’t entirely arched 😆 this is not a routine I do every week, this is just when I’m in a rush and need to be on the go! quick steps ⬇️ 1. Here’s some extra details about my own routine (check out my Routine highlight for dedicated reels!) 🧼 Cleansing: You need a good base for your curls! I wash every 3-4 days. I don’t co-wash, because it’s too moisturising for my hair and makes it limp (and my scalp gross!). I clarify with a clarifying/sulphate shampoo at least once a month - you may need to do this more often if you use lots of product or live in a hard water area. 🧴 Conditioning: 3 years ago I was deep conditioning every week, adding a leave in and a curl cream…and now, I don’t do a How To Get Your Curls To Stay All Day, Curly Hair Wash Routine, 3a Curls, Curl Routine, Frizzy Curls, Hair Washing Routine, Shoulder Length Curly Hair, Fine Curly Hair, Dry Curly Hair
