With this oil, it cures to a durable finish that’s waterproof! I recommend doing 3-4 coats and I just followed the directions on the back of the can! What I love about this is oil is if you scratch the wood or it dulls over time, you just need to wipe on another coat, let it dry for 8-10 hours, and you’re good to go!"

Sanding your piece in preparation for paint or stain can make or break your final finish. Keep reading for my best sanding tips, and SAVE this video so you can refer back to it later! 1️⃣ SANDPAPER GRIT 80 grit: sand through layers of paint or stain - never use on bare wood or veneer 120-180 grit: smooth your piece and prep it for paint or stain 220-320 grit: gentle sanding in between layers of primer or paint 400 grit: gentle sanding in between layers of topcoat 2️⃣ SAND THROUGH THE GRITS If you start with 80 grit, always make sure to do another pass with 100 grit, and then again with 120 or 150 grit, and finish with 180 or 220 grit. This prevent
