Pink Saturday Travels!

It is that time again.
PINK Saturday!
A day to show of lots of PINKINESS things!
My posts this week have been about our trip last weekend.
We were only gone from Friday to Monday,
but I still managed to take lots of pictures.
All of these were taken at hubby's brother and sister-in-law's place.
Outside.
A garden presents lots of PINK!
Here is a precious statue next to a PINK rose bush.

All the gorgeous flowers gave me plenty of opportunities
to practice my photography.
Close-up and from afar.

I love getting shots of buds before they are ready to open.

Oooo....so delicate!

Sigh......

Multiple shades of PINK.

This looks so soft.

Lovely pinks.
Oh....see the ant in the middle?

Oh look! A PINK birdhouse in the garden.
I just love their yard.
So nice to sit out there and gaze at all the loveliness.
Some PINK in the hydrangea!

Double PINKS for double the pleasure!
Do I hear you gasping?
Gasp away! LOL!
PINK in the gazebo!

Above us is this.
A candle chandy!
With PINK flowers in it, no less!
See where the candles can sit?
A fun place to have a tea party!

Hubby and I relaxing in the gazebo.
I even have PINK on, and no, I did not plan that.

Look what I cup I am using for my coffee!
Pinkiness there too!

See in the inside?
I just loved using this cup while we were there.

More of the lovely visions of PINK!
Thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting
this lovely PINK Saturday for us.
I will try to get around to the others posting for Pink Saturday.
I have to work and then I am trying to finish a sewing project.
Here is Helmi!
She is helping me with my project.
Come visit my craft blog if you get a chance and see what I have
been up to lately in the craft world!
Happy Pink Saturday everyone.
Have a great day!

Outdoor Wednesday!

It is Wednesday! And time for Outdoor Wednesday!
Thank you to Susan over at A Southern Day Dreamer for hosting.
I have lots to show you today.
All pictures can be clicked on if you want to see more detail.
The Angel stakes I showed you yesterday are watching over
these petunias.
I am floored at how well they came back this year.
This bed has the deep purple and the white ones.

Practicing getting closeups of the petunias.
Remember my petunia tower?
It is in my sidebar.
Not too long ago I showed a messy picture of it for Outdoor Wednesday.
Now it is cleaned out and ready to go.
I also pulled out the weeds around the tower too.
The area to the right of the tower is actually
the neighbor's space.
I decided to pull out some of their weeds too.
But I hope they get out there and do some of their own weeding!

This is the view as I look out towards the greenbelt area.

This area is under our bedroom window.
It was full of weeds too.
Now it is cleaned out and again I am surprised at
the flowers coming back this year.
Close up of the dianthus.

The Madrid Lavendar. I can't believe how full of blooms
it is this year. The best yet!
More dianthus!

The yellow daisy bush is doing well too.
I just planted this last year.
Evidence of my work.
I filled this bucket to overflowing 3 times the other day!

Still have more to pull out.
Some in the forground here.
And more beyond the hose.
To the right is the petunia bed.
Behind the tree is a rose bush.
This one!
It will be full of roses soon.

There are tons of buds like this.

Here is a rose that has already opened on that bush.
Coming up......Scenes on my drive home after work.

A cross on a hillside. I see it on the way to work too.
I find it calming to see it everyday I go to work.

A winery I pass on my way to and from work.

Now instead of the yellow fields of mustard flowers,
I see fields of these white flowers with some purple in them too.
I like them set against the mountain there.
That break that appears in the foreground is a fire break.
I am starting to see those around the edges of fields now.
A pretty driveway full of purple flowers.
There are on the left side too.
I would love to have a pretty driveway leading to my house.
Maybe someday...... This is in a small town along my commute.
This is a tourist shopping area.
Hubby and I should check this area out.
Would you believe we have never gone here.
But I did stop to get this picture when I spotted the fountain
framed by the wisteria.
Used the macro setting to get this closeup of the wisteria.
I thought it was interesting that several rows of wisteria
were planted here.
Some of the plants have finished blooming already.
Our state flower, the California Poppy.
Lots of these around right now.

You made it through this post!!
Thanks for visiting!
Hope you have a great Wednesday.

Pink Saturday #5

Thank you to Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday again. I find it fun to participate and it can get challenging to figure out what to do for a Pink Saturday post.

I am using my background fabric again for this post. Here you will see why I use the Neabear for my blog name. I use the last part of my first name and added bear because of my collection of teddy bears. Here are 3 of them that have some pink. The first bear has a dark pink ribbon around his neck. The next bear has pinkish wings with pink flowers in her fur and a pink nose. Then the third bear is a Cancer Bear with the pink breast cancer logo ribbon on her chest and a pink ribbon around her neck. The picture frame is from Avon, it had been my mother-in-laws. Somehow I have ended up with quite a few of her things when she was clearing out her house. There are pink flowers around the edge of the frame and the baby is my granddaughter not long after she was born sporting a pink headband. She is now 2 years old. In the foreground is a handkerchief with pinkish peach flowers and edging. I honestly don't remember where this one came from. I found it looking for my pink buttons to include in this picture. And then there are an assortment of pink buttons.
The picture above and the one below are my shades of pink impatiens that are still blooming. I have really enjoyed these flowers this year.
That is it for today's Pink Saturday post. I need to save something for future Pink Saturdays. Happy Pink Saturday to everyone. Thanks for visiting me. Now be sure to visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more Pink Saturday posts. It is interesting to see what others come up with for Pink Saturday.
