Oh my goodness that tea set is adorable! The granddaughters are absolutely precious and I love how they like to play dress-up! I loved play acting like that as a child- we had an old cardboard barrel full of mom's old stuff and we'd dress up and play- good times! Your granddaughters will always remember these special times! Love their outfits- and the last picture is precious!

ReplyDeleteNancy, it is so wonderful to meet you this morning, as I see that you visited me. Your kind comment has made my day, and seing your tea party fantasy here is making me want to have my own tea party in my garden! I have a BBF that has weekly tea parties with her grands and she is always sharing her delights with me. Thank you so much for sharing this special moment in both tender and seasoned lives!anita
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Nancy, your post conjured up so many memories. I used to have a mini tea set very similar to yours that I received as a child. A few years ago I gave it to my daughter and had forgotten about it until seeing your post. Also as a child my Mamare and I used to have tea parties all the time and they are one of my most cherished memories. You are creating special memories for your granddaughters that they will hold close to their hearts their entire lives! Just yesterday I pulled out my silver tea service and gave them a good polish - maybe I need to add some pretty flowers like you did. So glad I found you at the Share Your Cup Thursday Party!
