Where has the week gone? I can't believe it's Friday already! I am so thankful for Friday pizza night : ) Have you tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza at Round Table? If you like chicken and bbq sauce, you'll love this! A woman I met while we waited for our pizzas told me that she didn't like chicken on her pizza and no, she didn't like bbq sauce - well, obviously this pizza isn't for everyone! Gotta give it a try... Of course, it helps that my son works at Round Table - hee hee!
I've been having a lot of fun putting "cocoa holders" together - but this time, they will be used to hold apple cider packets! Perfect for Fall... I love this cute image from Mo's Digital Pencil - it's called Patrick in the Pumpkins. Doesn't it remind you a little of "Where's Waldo?" You can find Mo's amazing digi images here. I also am enjoying the button punch/emboss stamp from Martha Stewart I picked up at Michael's. As long as I have paper... (but will my supply EVER run out? hee hee...) I will have coordinating buttons - yay!
The shimmery leaf at the top is a sticker which happened to be on sale at Target! You never know where you'll find treasures :D
Here's a close up so you can (kinda) see the Diamond Stickles I used to accent the pumpkins. Gotta love that sparkle!
Oh so many images to print/stamp/color - and oh so little time to get it all done... whew, it's been a crazy day!
Until next time, my friends...
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

It's Friday!!!
Are ya glad it's Friday? Lookin' forward to a relaxing weekend? Today was a day filled with errands for me - one of which was to get my dog to the groomers (early for me) in the morning! He requires medication before he goes because he gets soooo stressed out and the groomer has a very difficult time using the shaver on him. Can you believe it? So when I pick him up, he looks so good! Nice and clean and soft... and still drugged - lol!!! He's pretty much out of it for the rest of the day!
My project today is from Suzanne Dean's blog which she posted about a week ago. You can find her project recipe HERE. This little cutie holds two packages of hot cocoa mix and is perfect for a quick gift! I just love her : D ... and yes - this does indeed look familiar because I just made a card using the same materials! See previous post. So what do you think?
This next image is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop. You can find Mo's adorable artwork HERE. I printed Kai using my HP printer and colored with Copics. I also used my clear spica glitter pen on the leaves. You can see it a little bit here, but it does sparkle! I do plan to make him into something, but I'm not sure what that will be yet... Have any good ideas? This week's challenge at Mo's is to make something other than a card, so I just might enter Kai - hee hee! You can find her challenge HERE - it ends on Wednesday, October 28. Check it out!
I am having so much fun playing with my new toys! I am finding it very addicting - lol! Sometimes it would be nice to have more hours in the day... but for now, it's time to sleep!
Have a fabulous weekend!
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

Kiki La Rue
What a day it's been! I'm back working out at Snap Fitness - doing my usual elliptical, bike and a few weight machines. This Friday will mark the two week countdown until my surgery, so I want to be in good shape - as much as I possibly can... I am not looking forward to sitting around all day - Oh the days seem so long when I'm not able to get out of the house! I am beginning to gather things together for me to do while I am recovering. I do thank God that I have a wide variety of interests. I can get bored doing the same thing day after day, don't you?
Well, I didn't finish the project I was going to do for today, but I did get this card done. It basically uses the same materials, so I thought you wouldn't mind. I hope that you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it : )
I just adore this image by C.C. Designs. She's called Coffee Kiki La Rue. You can get her at All That Scraps HERE. Kiki La Rue is colored with copics; diamond glaze on her rollers, eyes and shoes; diamond stickles on the inside of the rollers, flower in her hair, on her coffee cup and shoes! I hope that you can see the shine and dimension the diamond glaze creates. I got to use my snowflake punch on this card! I love snowflakes!! Gems are glued to the middle of the snowflakes for more sparkle : ) The background paper speaks for itself - glitter included.

Here's a close up so you can see the shine and sparkle a little bit better. Now that I've posted it, I can see that it's a little out of focus. Sorry! No, it's not your eyes - lol!
What are your favorite things to do when you can't leave the house? I need some ideas! Please leave me a comment (click on 'comment' below this post).
So happy to know that you are out there :D I pray that our times together here bring you comfort and JOY!!! I know that it does for me!
See ya tomorrow friends!

It's a Pre-Card Day : D
Ok.. so I have a confession to make! I've been on my computer now for five hours... There is just so much fun to be had at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design - HERE. I needed to shop a little and drool a little... Then I needed to check out my groups on Paper Craft Planet - HERE. I also needed to send replies on Facebook and finally, I sent out My Testimony of Healing!!! If you'd like to hear more about how JESUS has healed me, leave me a comment (below this post).
Well, the "hot cocoa holders" I was planning on finishing up today are still waiting patiently for me on my wonderful new desk : D I will definitely have them available for you to see tomorrow because they are gifts for my Bible Study group. V. if you see this, pretend that you didn't - ha ha!
Anywhoo... I got the "recipe" for the holders from Suzanne Dean's blog, Scrap Bitz - HERE. I'll share the link again tomorrow. Today I picked up a snowflake punch by Martha Stewart. I can't wait to use it! I also couldn't resist the photo corner punch also by Martha Stewart. Did you know that these are available at WalMart? Who would have thought...
Oh... I have so many c u t e stamps coming that I can't wait to share with ya! Come back tomorrow to take a peek - k?
Until then...

My First Challenge - Hooray!!!
Ok... get out your calendars so you can mark this down... I have FINALLY entered a challenge - yay!!! Mo's Digital Challenge 2 was my very first one! Thanks, Mo : ) You can enter also - here's the link: Mo's Digital Challenge.
This is Jordan Multitasking. Isn't she adorable? The challenge was to use fall colors and two embellishments.
I colored Jordan with copics, accented with gold shimmers and highlighted with Sharpie paint marker. Ribbon is from Offray and spirals/rhinestones from my stash; dp is from Imaginisce.
Hopefully, this is one of many more to come! Since I cleaned up my work space, it doesn't feel so overwhelming... maybe the cobwebs have cleared also and my brain can create once more : )
Hoping you have a marvelous weekend!!!
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

I'm Back!!!
Hey There! I've been away for a week and a half... Had a wonderful time in Carmel for a couple of days! The weather was absolutely perfect : ) The food was amazing and you would have traded your first born to sleep in the most comfortable bed in the world! I am not kidding! Simply divine!
I received the BEST news ever on Friday... JESUS has healed me :) No cancer - yay!!! I praise God from whom all blessings flow! Do you know Him? He is REAL and very present in our lives! If you want to hear my testimony, post a comment and I'll get right back to ya : )
So... I'm hoping to be able to do some cardmaking tomorrow. My kitchen table is brimming with various papers and tools - gotta clean some of it up so I can have room to create - lol!
Will have some pics again soon. Much love and peace to all!

So Thankful Remix... and Minnie Too!
Happy Happy Monday to you... Did your weekend go as fast as mine did? I still can't believe it's almost Tuesday already - yikes!
Although I stayed home ALL day today (which is very unusual for me...) I only made a couple of cards. Most of the day was spent cleaning and straightening up! What do you do with all your craft supplies??? I'm talking to those of you who do not have a craft room. I'd LOVE to have a craft room one day, but for now, I have things a little here and a little there. Well, honestly, it's growing into more like "a lot here and a lot there!" If you were to visit me on any given day, you'd find my kitchen table covered with "my toys."
Today, I'm sharing a card I made earlier, but I decided to change it up a bit...
This second card is made using my Cricut Expression. I love Disney, don't you? When I saw the red polka dot ribbon at Michael's, I immediately thought of Minnie Mouse! I also made a birthday card for my sister using this image.

Well... now for the countdown. I find out results of the biopsy on Wednesday. If you think of it, please pray for me : ) Pray especially for my husband and children - I really appreciate it!
See you all tomorrow ~

Everything went extremely well with the procedure I had done yesterday. I am resting and recovering. So glad to get that part of it over with... Now for the next big wait for the results of the biopsy - sigh... Seems like I'm always needing to wait for one thing or another!
To make the evening go by a little faster, I've been checking out so many wonderful blogs. You would not believe how many talented people there are out there - well, of course you would believe, but it just amazes me that I am only beginning to see it for myself : )
I appreciate so much the time and effort that you put into the tutorials, the cards and crafts, the conversation, the FUN!!! I want to do it ALL! Hopefully, tomorrow I will have enough time and energy to begin AND complete a project. Maybe even join a challenge or two - that'd be a first for me. I am simply amazed at how much I've learned so far to be able to get links and such posted. This is not an easy task ya know! lol
So... what do you have planned for the weekend? I will be spending time with my sister at our favorite hangout for "breakfast" - IHOP! I say "breakfast" because we do actually eat breakfast food, but it usually ends up being around lunch time - hee hee! Then we'll head on over to see a Five Buck Club movie. You can sign up for your own Five Buck Club card here.
Wishing you the best, relaxing, comforting and creative weekend evah!
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~
