Adding perlite and orchid bark add more texture and prevent the soil from becoming compacted. Water is able to freely penetrate the soil to get to the plant’s roots and then drain excess out the bottom of the pot. This well draining soil helps you avoid your plants roots sitting in water that eventually leads to root rot. Recipe is: equal (ish) parts of these 3 things: -potting mix -perlite -orchid bark Using air-tight container makes it easy to premix and store. If you notice moisture in your container, open the lid every so often to let it dry out! Comment MIX for a dm with the products I’m using.
